Dear person I hate?
Dear person I hate,
You're an asshole. Self centred, narrow minded, utterly controlling, and prone to debilitating jealousy. Get the fuck out of that tunnel you live in and realise that there's more to the world than that tiny bit you see. See the sky.
If people are put on this world to learn a lesson (as a lot of people believe), then your lesson is to learn to be less of all the aforementioned things. Did you know that you can actually emotionally and mentally hurt people by the things you say? Did you know that sometimes that emotional and mental pain leads to physical, self inflicted pain too?
You live in a warped reality and I wonder how you would react to finding out what it's really like for those around you.
Favourite aspect of USyd this year and what do you miss most about UTS?
The jacaranda tree in the Quad. Is that lame? That's probably lame. But I love it anyway! And the architecture, of course. I like looking at the gargoyles.
I miss the closeness of UTS to the city, and the way we could go for lunch somewhere nearby, like Chinatown, or Market City.
Favourite part of your job?
Seeing chemist girl. Haha, just kidding, although that is a pretty good part about work :P Favourite part is people actually listening to the recommendations you make, buying the book, and then coming back and telling you they loved it. Makes my day every time.
if money wasn't a problem, where would you move to?
New York City. Or some secluded place near a lake surrounded by pine trees. I'm torn between my love of urbanism and lakes.
favourite memory?
Sitting outside after curfew at year 7 camp and seeing an owl fly into the leafless tree by the bathroom. I'd never been so calm or so awed in my life.
Actually, school camps in general have some of my favourite memories.
top 5 favourite books ever?
1. Jane Eyre - Charlotte Bronte
2. Gone with the Wind - Margaret Mitchell
3. Crank - Ellen Hopkins
4. The Picture of Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde
5. The Night Circus - Erin Morgenstern
At least they're the ones I can think of right now.
