Sleepy mornings
My OTP is specifically Seraphina x Juniper x Jackson Winters, because Juniper having two Phoenixes to bruise his ego is nothing less than what he deserves
Jackson Winters being @rojaceartandgaming 's Phoenix for clarification-
Three Questions with: Joshua Williamson,
The plot for Image Comics’ breakout series Ghosted, is simple: A thief by the name of Jackson Winters is sprung from jail by an eccentric millionaire to steal something most unique, an actual ghost! Winters assembles a ragtag team of con men, psychics, and ghost chasers to get the job done. Think Oceans Eleven meets Poltergeist.
The series is the brainchild of this week’s Three Questions participant Joshua Williamson. The California-born Portland resident has a lot on his plate right now. Not only has Ghosted gone from a miniseries to an ongoing monthly comic, Joshua is also hard at work writing new adventures for Dark Horse’s revival of Golden Age hero Captain Midnight. To add to his list of duties, Joshua is about to unleash his long-awaited horror opus Nailbiter, the story of Nicholas Finch, an NSA agent who realizes that Buckaroo, Oregon, has spawned more than 16 serial killers since 1969. Finch sets out to uncover the mystery behind the town and how it produced so many killers. Joshua was kind enough to take some time away from banging out horror-inspired tales to answer this week’s Three Questions.
EAT:
Portland, Oregon, has become a hub for food trends the past few years. What are some of your favorite places to have a meal?
Smallwares and Pok Pok. And Toro Bravo, where I ask for the chef’s choice … where the chef tries to surprise and impress you. It’s great. But mostly I’m a simple man and the food carts on NE Sandy are my heaven, especially the taco cart. Can’t get enough. I’d eat there every day if I could.
GEEK:
What was the last great book or comic that made you go, “Damn, why didn’t I think of that?”
That’s tough. I read a LOT of comics. My stack of books to read is pretty intense, and I’m way behind. But with comics, I still go to my shop every Wednesday and get a nice haul of new single issues and trades. Sex Criminals is inspiring in that it drives me to be better. Same with East of West. Saga is perfect in my mind.
Oh, I haven’t read it yet, but I think James Robinson’s Airboy that he announced at Image Expo is a genius idea. But, yeah, I’m going to go with Sex Criminals. That book is so good, but I don’t think it’s the kind of idea I would have come up with, and there is no way I could have executed it the way Matt (Fraction) and Chip (Zdarsky) have. They are firing on all cylinders there.
PLAY:
What video games are taking up way too much of your free time right now?
I play my Nintendo 3DS a lot. Probably more than I should. I have a PS3 and I use that to play a few games, like the last game I beat was the new Batman: Arkham around Christmas. BUT the 3DS is my BFF. I recently beat the new Legend of Zelda: Link Between Worlds, then Epic Mickey Power of Illusion, and now I’m playing Luigi’s Haunted Mansion. So good. I was never really a handheld guy but something about the game and the convenience of the system has turned me into an addict. And like I said, a sequel to A Link to the Past … just had to get it. And it was amazing.

Sky told Jackson (1) that he is going to be a big brother. Lets just say he was a little bit surprised.
