Summary:

Kellin couldn't believe his luck when ASO personally offered him a lucrative job at their array of radio telescopes fresh off his Masters degree. While they very much overstated many aspects when it came to the working conditions on the array, he couldn't be happier with the job. Though, the boredom of his downtime does start to become grating about a week in. However, his lucky streak continues as he happens across an old cassette player and collection of tapes left by a previous employee.

Yet the cure for downtime doesn't end there, as that night he picks up a signal that changes everything. Kellin doesn't know the coming weeks will be the most chaotic and insightful of his life. Will he be able to keep up with the craziness? Or will he crack under the pressure?

And call it a gut feeling, but it seems his near miss encounters are getting even closer to Kellin himself...

Summary:

Making it back within the confines of the base after his late night excursion, he can't believe he actaully touched an extraterristal's space ship. With his mind racing and extraterrsitals seemingly in his backyard, he chooses to reorganize his efforts to make sure he can document everything to the most professional level he can muster with a trashed base, outdated tech and only his mind to work with. If that wasn't enough, another force makes it first appearance to Kellin and just adds another thing to his plate.
