Willow had broken away from Demitri long enough to scavenge for something to drink. It had been too long and his tactics weren’t working. She was fucking starving. If she didn’t get blood in her system in the next hour, she’d wither to nothing. Well, not actually, but that’s the feeling that was building in her stomach.
It didn’t take long for her to catch a human scent, hell, she wasn’t even sure what territory she was in anymore. It didn’t matter though, she had it in her mind that her fledgling strength was enough to combat anything. Spotting her prey, she barely hesitated before leaping, determined to sink her teeth into the humans flesh before he even knew what hit him.
