Alright I see a bunch of people complaining about the Lego movie 2 and how it wasn't needed but you know what else wasn't needed THE TWO MOVIES BEFORE AND THE SIDE SHOW? AND THE TIMELINES MAKE ZERO SENSE
Before I start ranting I'm just gonna say I don't hate these movies I like them but I just wanted to say something.
As we know with the Lego movie we get a group of diverse main characters that was way ahead of its time and who gets a movie? Batman. We could have seen how business got to power or his lore. But NOOOOO batman. A guy Evey person and their great grandma knows. We could have learnt about the background behind business and vitrivius, how the masterbuilders came to war. The Lego Batman movie has like a few implications of it being connected to the Lego movie universe. But what else. It may be a Lego Batman movie. But the movies are supposed to have connections and be connected to eachother but nope. Also what was Batman even doing in Gotham mentioning nothing about bricksburg being LITERALLY ATTACKED BY THE SYSTARIANS?. and the Lego Ninjago movie . ISN'T EVEN MADE BY FIN ITS LITERALLY JACKYCHAN TELLING KID A MOTIVATIONAL STORY. AND THE UNIKITTY SHOW DOESN'T EVEN TAKE PLACE IN CLOUD CUCKOO LAND AND THE TIMELINES MAKE ZERO SENSE IF THE LEGO MOVIE 2 HAPPENS BEFORE THE SHOW DOES THAT MEAN SHE WAS 6 IN TEH FIRST MOVIE EVEN THOUGH SHE SOUNDS LIKE A FULLY DEVELOPED ADULT. But uh yeah. We are never getting another movie so they can never fix those plot holes🥹
