why is high detail so satisfying
This is an excellent question. I’ve always been obsessed with detailed work. I think it stems from working primarily in colored pencil when I was younger. When you’re working with a tool like that it’s hard to cover large expanses of space, and it forces you to focus on details (in my opinion)It’s similar with ink work I’d say, unless you’re using a brush, which I haven’t ventured into yet.
The fact that I tend to work smaller might also have something to do with it.A combination of several factors I guess. This is the main reason I started working abstractly when it comes to painting. To loosen things up and create balance within my overall body of work.
i can't help but think your username here has something to do with what's happening to the sensitive internal components of my ipod as we speak
Ahaha! The URL was more introspection than anything but my criteria certainly does not exclude forgotten iPods.
