1950′s Designer - Jacques Fath
Jacques Fath became known worldwide for his exquisite dress designs worn by some of the most famous actresses of the 1950s era. Fat was best known or his plunging necklines (something that other designers wouldn't dare to create) and hourglass figures, which appealed to a younger audience than some other designers did. Fat tragically died in 1957 of cancer.
This Jacques Fath dress from 1957 is breathtaking. I love the color purple, but the lace, the ribbon, and the silhouette add to its beauty.
