“11. Wardrobe headcanon”
Listen. Listen to me. Taako is not fashionable. He could be if he so chose! He reads fashion magazines and shit! And then he decides their fashion choices are bullshit and derivative. He goes ahead and chooses to wear a holographic jacket over a crop-top that says “Blaze It” and galazy-patterned leggings. His hat changes color magically but it’s always a color that clashes with his outfit. If he’s wearing something trendy it’s because it’s a trend he started because being gay and tacky and original is his BRAND baby!
As you might imagine, Kravitz “Closet Full of Identical Tailored Blazers” Adventurezone, Kravitz “Does Not Own a Pair of Sneakers” Adventurezone, Kravitz “Wears a Three-Piece Suit and Oxfords to the Grocery Store” Adventurezone…Kravitz struggles. Their shared closet (which is a walk-in, natch) is a bewildering mix of pressed and neatly hung designer suits juxtaposed next to, like, rainbow-colored faux fur coats thick enough to make Taako look three times his size when he wears them. (But Kravitz secretly smiles at the splashes of color thrown around when he gets dressed every morning.)
“16. Anger headcanon”
Magnus’s anger is nearly always the righteous sort. As such, he’s quick to let people know when he’s upset–why shouldn’t he, when there’s never any time to waste in getting justice and putting wrongs to right? Over the Stolen Century, he learned some self-control, tamed his temper enough that nowadays he’s able to at least try to solve a situation diplomatically instead of with his fists initially. What he didn’t learn was how to stop holding grudges. When he thinks about someone who got away with injustice, his anger feels just as fresh as it was the day of the incident.
Taako’s always on the verge of being a little bit pissed. He’s easily annoyed, which is a lot like mild anger. So is bitterness, which he has a lot of. He’s not proud of it, but he’s not especially ashamed either. It’s who he is, he thinks. He’s good at hiding it, like he’s good at hiding all his emotions. Unfortunately, that means the people he’s somewhat comfortable with, the ones he lets his walls down a little bit for, get the brunt of his irritability. He’s snappy when he’s angry, mostly, angry quips that he convinces himself not to regret later.
Merle’s slow to anger, always has been and always will be. But when he does get mad, his way of expressing it after the Stolen Century is different than during it. He’s grumpy, unwelcoming, and hostile toward anyone who manages to get him angry after the SC. During it, though, he was a lot more like a disappointed father, someone who never yelled, just explained to you matter-of-factly exactly what you had done to upset him. He’s quick to forgive no matter what, though.
