Hi everyone! I was inspired to just start writing and getting my project together instead of just letting it dredge around in my head. So this is my writeblr!
My name is Jacqui Lich, she/her pronouns, I’m 24 years old (oh god), and I’m maybe too obsessed with burritos, pizza and tequila. I’ve only ever lived in states that start with ‘M’ (DC doesn’t count).
I’m a voracious reader and always have been, but never really succeeded when it came to writing because it’s never been as good as in my head. I mostly read and enjoy YA & NA fantasy and sci fi, but trying to expand my reading range! Character development and growth is my absolute favorite to read about and ~world-building~. I also really like to read stuff with disabled characters, particularly those who are Deaf or hard of hearing, especially ones which are portrayed realistically (no. magic. lipreading. my god.).
That’s why I started writing Bellicose, which is a YA high fantasy story about two Deaf kids, Romy and Phil, on a quest to save the world and themselves. Vague, I know, but a better synopsis will come. :)
