what's a kinshift?? -jade!! who's currently confused from all this different terminology

Heya, Jade!! Don’t worry, there’s a bunch of terminology that can get super confusing super fast. 

A kinshift is when you, well... shift into a kin’s personality! This is usually more typical when you have multiple kintypes, but can happen if you only have one. It’s that moment when you feel like your current self, and then the next moment, you feel like you did in a past life. It’s when you stop being now-you, and start being old-you! 

Of course, they can have very different levels of effect. A kinshift can be just lowkey feeling like a kin - for instance, getting an extreme love for dogs out of the blue, more so than usual - or it can be half and half - for instance, starting to really get into spacey stuff and maybe starting to type more like your kin - or it can be a 100% shift! - for instance, taking on all the mannerisms and typing patterns and likes of your kin. 

Usually when people talk about a kinshift, they mean a 50% or above feeling, but it can range all over the place, to be honest.
