The Second Signless folio is among the most famous of the surviving pages from the Book of the Signless, and its intricate symbolism has drawn much interest of those studying the history of Alternia. It is believed to have been illuminated by His Disciple herself due to the prevalence of feline lusii figures. Analysis of the pigments has revealed that while most were created from lusus blood, the rich pink tones were created from Alternian pink moonstone, a rare gemstone found in meteors of lunar origin on the troll planet, due to the rarity of seadweller lusus blood. Portions of it are also decorated with gold leaf. It has drawn much attention from the followers of the Creators for many reasons, from its foretelling of the Knight of Blood to its illuminated depictions of events from the Great Game to the belief of some historians that it was one in the possession of the Maid of Time.
