Cree is about to be awoken.

The painting on the wall is the very reason this panel took 2 days. I hadn't even finished shading the water before realizing this was gonna be an insurmountable challenge. I did try my best though. Those waves and rocks were not traced, and are actually drawn by my hand alone, and if I've learned anything, I have fallen in love with drawing panoramas in that style. It just so happens that there aren't a lot of places to capture that have cliffs and crashing waves all the same, so I gossa implement it a different way.

The hardest part about working on art is accepting your pride is not your ally, use references, use models. This took me multiple real hours, for two reasons.

I need help finding a title for the comic I wanna make.

I love my girl Tulip, but damn, she doesn't fit in the family, she's just the weird neighbor.

New Cree design. I figured I could draw baby enby's curls in a more unique way than just swirls again. Their eyelashes are adorable (when they're not on a sketchbook.)

I have space for Phoss and Mara, but I thought I could put them up and behind Cree and Jade... that was a bad decision.

quick digital sketch

I do wanna start making that comic soon, but I admit, this is gonna be a more difficult undertaking than I predicted. It's gonna have to be done almost entirely digitally to save on paper, but I also have to clear up on my storage space, and have to compromise with my own artistic ability.

I'll start with a more episodic flow like comic strip, but make a more serialized graphic novel covering character progress and the like. They'd be two separate projects, one to test my skills with a pen, and one to test my writing, but still using the same characters, setting, all that jazz.
