The painting on the wall is the very reason this panel took 2 days. I hadn't even finished shading the water before realizing this was gonna be an insurmountable challenge. I did try my best though. Those waves and rocks were not traced, and are actually drawn by my hand alone, and if I've learned anything, I have fallen in love with drawing panoramas in that style. It just so happens that there aren't a lot of places to capture that have cliffs and crashing waves all the same, so I gossa implement it a different way.

The hardest part about working on art is accepting your pride is not your ally, use references, use models. This took me multiple real hours, for two reasons.

3 models meant this took 3 thrice the time, and if I wanted to shave some of that time, I'd have to cut the quality as well, and unfortunately, this did dip in that aspect, even if the final product is overall, good, compared to my normal output.

so much of my time was poured into using the Krita perspective tools, only for those tools to end up being almost entirely superfluous. Not to mention the hours I put into designing the dorms for this hallway shot, only for it to not use that complex an angle anyways. Am I dissapointed in this drawing, no. Am I mad at myself for wasting time on experimentation, no. I'm just tired and I want this to over is all.

When this first short chapter is over, I can go back to a simpler art style and cruise through the creative process.
