Can we make sure to tag the dress post, I know its causing some people to dissociate, but like this is really aggravating my colorblindness and its really frustrating.
I'm getting really irrationally mad over this cause its like everywhere at once. All my classes and out in the halls people are talking about it and like Im really burnt out on it. Also i hate this big movement of Well I see X so you have to be wrong, and people arnt accepting others may see colors differently. THEN I GET ASKED, and I would like to say well I don't see it either way cause I'm colorblind. But instead of a simple oh, well if you feel comfortable how do you see it, the response I normally would get is OH MY GOD WHAT DO YOU SEE DO YOU SEE ANYTHNG AT ALL WHATS COLOR MY SHIRT CAN YOU SEE COLORS DO YOU KNOW WHAT COLORS ARE? I really hate being asked what color something is when I tell someone I have colorblindness. Because i feel like my disability is just a freak entertainment show. If they were wanting to understand it, or somehow make things more accessible that would be different. But no its always LOL WAT YOU CANT SEE COLORS? WHAT DO YOU SEE IS EVERYONE GRAY? HOW DO YOU SEE WHAT THINGS ARE? With my goddamn eyes thats how.
So I've just not participated (outside of mark, richie, and me talking cause they know and udnerstand how my eyes work so they have been really great during this love them both. and my roommate who has synesthesia so he understands weird color shit and can see both colors interchangeably ) even though I kind of would like to cause I really do see it very differently and I would like this post to be a chance to understand colorblindness and how people with it see,
