⊱EARTHLAND⊰
Balsam Village
》 Third Person's Point of View 《
She booked a small cottage in Balsam Village for a two weeks once she was cleared from any charges with the Guild War but she think someone vouched for her. After what happened, she hasn't heard from any of her guildmates even Gajeel.
“Miss here's your order.” In a Eastern style restaurant, she ordered a few family meals but truly she's alone in a table near the window. She was minding her business when someone walked in the establishment, looking out of place with his coat with fake fur linings at the hood, blue tinted glasses and exhaustion prominent on his face.
'Fairy Tail' She noticed him from the Sorcerer Weekly, one of the eligible male mages.
“My, my, my, why would a pretty... ” He didn't get to finish when he looked at Jade for a long time. “You're from Phantom!” He pointed an accusing finger at her but she didn't react and just continue on eating.
“Excuse me sir, but we would like you to not cause a scene.” The owner asked the man with ginger hair. The two males were talking to each other when they noticed.
'What the heck is this woman's appetite?!' The ginger haired man thought as serving was cut in half, she was eating with poise.
“Er, right. I'll have some your strongest liquor.” Loke said to the owner, flashing him a fake smile. Grudgingly, the owner takes with his order and lead him to a vacant seat, coincidentally, in front of Jade .
'What am I even doing here?' Loke asked, at first he plan on relaxing here after the whole mirror fiasco with the Phantom mage. And then, he saw Lucy and actually made her feel bad which earned him a slap on the face.
“You.... want to order more?” The server asked as the woman in blue in front of him just finished everything on her table.
'WHAT THE HECK?! I JUST CLOSED MY EYES AND SHE FINISHED EATING?!' Loke's eyes widened behind his tinted glasses.
“Just some deserts please, Jade wil take one of each.” Jade smiles.
“Oo-of course!” The server nodded furiously and made a bee line towards the establishment' s kitchen.
“Does Jade have something on her face?” Jade noticed Loke gaping at her, looking at her as if she grew another head.
“Ah, no!” Loke was startled as he was caught staring at her. He even crossed his arms up in the air just to make a point, which caused the bluenette to giggle.
“Alright.” She then hummed a tune as she looked outside the window, waiting for her orders. Whilst she was waiting, Loke's orders was brought to his table, a small century old pot of sake from the East. With one small red saucer that came with the pot, he finds himself on the literally sitting in front of the bluenette, shamelessly flirting with her.
“Have I told you that you can beat me black and blue and I'll still like you?” Loke slurred and taking another sip of the sake.
'This man is ridiculous.' Jade was smiling outside but was cringing inside. Least to say she was shocked to even see him flirt with her when their guilds were fighting not too long ago.
“Or that your eyes are as blue as the deepths of the sea, cold... Haunting but serene. Ye....blah, blah, blah... ” He babbled but Jade droned his voice out as her order arrived.
“Thank you!” Jade was salivating at the sight of the Eastern deserts, this caused the ginger to stop blabbing and looked at her.
'How could a woman like her ended up in Phantom anyway?!' Loke thinks as he takes note on how her blue eyes seemed to shine at the sight of the sweets.
“Join Fairy tail.... ” Loke said, complete sober as he drunk in the sight of the petite woman uncharacteristically finished half of the sweets but ended up chocking on a pink dango.
“Ack!” Jade wasn't expecting that from him. She coughed a few times.
“Here.” A few customers were looking at them weirdly as he handed her a handkerchief.
“You want Jade to join Fairy Tail?” Didn't Jade in the canon join only around the time of the whole Jellal fiasco?
“Why not? You're a powerful mage, gorgeous too.” Loke finally closed the pot of sake and looked at her seriously. “If you were to dismiss the whole Fairy Tail vs Phantom Lord not too long ago.”
“Hmp!” Jade won't fall such tactics. She crossed her arms on her chest and glared at him.
“Cunning too, backed up with the story from Cana and Gray.” Loke said.
“Jade 's dept to Jose is finished, Jade wishes to live normally now.” Jade says, finishing the last desert that she ordered.
“Why live normally when you get to live with many friends?” Loke bargained.
“Jade has friends.” She scoffed. “Jade didn't just work at Phantom, she made friends too.”
“Come on, Fairy Tail is great! You'll get the whole package; no. 1 Guild in Fiore thus having many jobs to pick from and huge amount of payment, friends who will treat you like family and perhaps you'll even find your one true love there.” He flirted her as he says the last part.
“How can you say such things when you're just going to leave them?” Jade asked, looking him dead in the eyes making him gaped at her words.
“I. I don't know what y-your talking about.” Loke chuckled nervously.
“Jade is not just a water mage, Jade learned a lot of things especially during her time in Phantom.” Jade says. “Jade who has magic and who has not, if they are sick or not, if they're a fake or not. Jade is water, and water is flexible.”
“You got me.” Loke smiled as he surrendered. “Color me impressed. And I'm also serious, think about it. ”
“You should see the Heartfilia Heiress, she can help you.” Jade says, signalling the server to bring her bill. Her advice made the ginger to laugh awkwardly.
“Ah, I think she won't be helping me anytime soon.” He rubbed his cheek where he was slapped by the blonde.
“As you have said, your friends will help you even if you are being a crude to them.” Jade smiled sweetly at the server making the poor lad to swoon as she paid for her... orders. “Jade 's treat.” She says as she also pays for his sake which was not surprisingly cheap.
“Huh?” Loke gaped at her as she leaves the establishment, paying for his order and smiling at him as she left.
“Jade liked our talk.” With that she was out of his reach.
“Man, I didn't know about you but if I were you, I wouldn't have let her leave just like that.” A middle aged man says at Loke.
“Silly me, weren't I?” Loke enjoyed their talk as well despite he mostly took the time talking nonsense.

A few days later...
Jade 's Home in Oak Town
She was wearing a comfortable a light blue Victorian Nightgown as she was slouched on her bed while reading a book about a man of science ended up having an accident which fractured his hands thus enabling him to continue on with his job then seeking out arcane magic to help him but later somehow ends up saving the world due to a cosmic threat. It was a peaceful night but someone just had to ruin it.
“Is anyone there?” A familiar voice asked as a series of knocks, knocking down the relaxing vibe in her home.
“Jade wouldn't mind murder.” Jade seethes as she stomps down and slams open the redwood door. “WHAT?” She didn't shout, she doesn't but whoever dares to interrupt her night better be dying.
“Oh.....” The person flinched as the bluenette looked like she'll drown him in the lake and noone will ever know. But his eyes did raked up her figure, wearing such intricate nightware did little to his already perverted mind.
“Loke?” Jade is confused as the man no longer sported the rugged play boy look but now looks like a rich cassanova who inherited his generations worth of riches.
“My, you lo–” He was about to complement her but water tendrils swirled behind her, warning him to tread qith caution.
“Jade is warning you.” Jade crossed her arms on her chest which made a trickle of blood drip from his nose, he lets it flow as he clears his throat.
“It's Leo, actually. Leo the Lion, leader of the Celestial Zodiacs.” He bowed and took her hands, placing a soft kiss on the back of her palm. “For the kind words and gesture you gave me last time we met, I am gifting you a whole weekend in Akane Resort.” She didn't look please which made him sweatdrop.
“And?” She was lividly tapping her foot as she retrieve her hand back.
“It is also encompasses a beach?” He thinks fast and noticed how her home was only a few steps from the lake, any normal person would've built it a few meters away from the body of water but seeing she's a water mage, she seem to like water.
“I'll take it!” The same shine in her eyes back when she was eating was back. She took the ticket and inspected it. She was so caught up in her own world that she shuts the door in his face.
“Well, that went well.” Leo was still pleased that she took his gift and was about to leave when the door opened slightly.
“Leo... Jade is thankful for your gift.” With that she closed the door again and the ginger haired man was whistling as he disappeared with a golden bright light.
