Ship idea

Queer Platonic MK/Mei

Picture this: a few year down the road MK Mei talk about their dreams and futures. The topic of relationships and marriage comes up. They both are uncomfortable with “traditional” relationships and marriage, for different reasons. MK like his life the way it is and isn’t interested in a relationship or getting married. Mei feel obligated to get married for the sake for her family’s heritage/legacy. They joke that if they don’t find someone in like 10 years they would marry each other. What’s better than marrying your best friend. That joke gets turned into a informal pact/deal between them. A few mor years pass and the “deal” is mostly forgotten. The two go on many for adventure together with their other friends. After a major battle the topic of marriage comes up again. The two take about they would want in a ideal situation. They realize they want the same thing. With this realization they get together. Not much changes in their relationship. The call each other “partners”. And a few more years later they get married on their own terms.

This was taken in front of the Tea shop Meilin owns, and on a festival that was held. Jewel helped with the group’s cloths for it.
