notes about jadeblood tl. tyrian horuss ruled alternia similarly to how tyrian feferi ruled beforus. tyrian equius ruled beforus similarly to how tyrian meenah ruled alternia. this is a good guideline.
horuss was very private. he was a fairly lax ruler, but did enforce the coddling of lowbloods, mutants and anyone different to keep his rule solidly in place. as such, jadebloods, particularly a jadeblood male like me, was in high demand as an auspistice and also had official assignments from the top, which were terrible. (however, my other quads were less sought after. fef fended off a lot of folks who wanted me to auspistice as my ‘rail since otherwise i would have been overwhelmed). aside from my assignments and the emphasis on ‘caring’ and whatnot, it was easy to break rules. fef was a terrible vandal, while i stole a lot of fabric and jewelry and makeup off highbloods. jadeblood cronus had every quad filled and was utterly miserable. beforus under tyrian equius was hemospec casteist hell. blueblood tavros on both beforus and alternia, i recall, had wildly different views on what to do with lowbloods and did Not get along with eq. not one single bit. tav did see himself as superior to lowbloods but designated himself a liberator of them from either system’s fuckery.
jadebloods were absolutely the village two wheeled device. just as fanon makes violet me out to be horny and desperate and selfish, trolls in my swap tl conveniently forgot jadebloods and other greenbloods had any needs of their own. alternian midbloods in general were a ’???’ for fuschia horuss. i think if you were ‘good’ you were counted as a highblood. if you were caught making too much trouble you would be treated as a lowblood and assigned caretakers. that was one of my worst nightmares; as much as it sucked to be so busy and so miserably unselfish as a cover for avoiding the issues i needed to work through, it wouldve been worse to be seen as defective and had my freedoms potentially limited
