@jadeds ♡’d for a lyric starter running on empty - isaac gracie
he lets out a sigh, free hand moving to rub across his eyes. maybe that will get the sleep out of his eyes. left hand moves, shifting the canned coffee to his lips as he takes a sip. “i feel like ... i’m running on empty.”

𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠. engaging in the fun of his juniors was fun in a way he could not describe : his peers were beyond him, left lingering at yumenosaki for this final year. even those in his grade were his younger. the old man of year three, that alone was enough to annoy or disinterest many of the other students. but here, he had a very strong tie... ❝ you seem most troubled. shall i lend you a hand ? ❞ even should his affections as his brother be unreturned, why would he not care for and support his allies ? after all, blood was blood, but family was something else entirely.
@jadeds gets a starter from skunk for cinnamon !!
back is pressed to the roof, eyes glancing upwards at the sky. the cool air felt nice, and the sky was as clear as could be, stars shining brightly. hand moves awkwardly to grab a slice of pizza from the box, taking a bite of it and managing to cause a piece of pepporoni to fall on his shirt. he lets out a laugh, shaking his head. “guess you shouldn’t try to eat pizza when you’re layin’ down, huh ??” he comments, pushing himself up a little bit, lounging now at an angle.
“i like to eat pizza on the roof here. it’s nice and quiet, y’ get a good look at the city ‘n everythin’. thanks for taggin’ along buddy.”
CHILD FAST MADE TO GOVERN - swallows odious concoctions to settle the stomach of someone else in pretense of legacy and vigor . LEAVING HIM LEASHED at a pillar of barbarity he’d failed to upheave . and now he runs with a blistered heart spinning tales of a dead mother , and from truths that seemed to want his head. and so he is where he is to request freedom . surely they would not throw him out in such a storm. HE GIVES THREE HARD KNOCKS ON THE DOOR. these were not people who worked out of requests but when you felt your time bend on itself , you’d do anything to be saved - ❝ oh god help me . i’ll do anything for it @jadeds / cinnamon ❞

Tohru & Arashi
She was quite settled into the job now, having sorted a few of the contracts already. The producers and lawyers already hired by the schools and companies knew their stuff! But Tohru could understand the benefits of hiring an outside lawyer to check over certain bits and pieces of the idols contracts.
Really, it was Kiki that knew all about idols. It wasn’t that Tohru disliked the world of idols, she had just never had the TIME to properly get into them or listen to them or... learn about them. But as with any job, she put her heart and soul into it. She had tried her best to find out what idols she would be assisting, even if the idols themselves would likely never know of her behind the scenes helping hand. Tohru found she quite enjoyed the music and the energy they all had - but her heart went out to how hard they all worked. They put in so much time! They trained so hard! And it didn’t seem everyone appreciated that. One of the contracts she’d looked over would have had an idol working overtime for nothing. That had been quickly amended and a note put out to the company.
She would only be working on site for a few more days before things became remote. Tohru didn’t need to look around the building, but she wanted to learn a bit more about the world of idols. She still had yet to speak to any of them. Maybe it was better that way.
Carrying a bundle of textbooks and contracts in her arms, she decided she could work for the day in a more open space. Nothing she was looking over today was confidential after all. And if something came up like that she could retreat to an office. Today she wanted to feel like she was part of this wonderful world!
Of course... She wasn’t quite sure where such an open space might be. An open plan office? A cafeteria? She had already wandered for some time.
Turning a corner, she saw an elevator and someone waiting by it. Perhaps she could go to a lower floor and look around? As the thought hit her, the doors opened. “ah!” Tohru quickened her step, careful not to drop the papers. “excuse me! could you hold the elevator, please~?” She hoped her voice reached them.

tohru & seven
This was a strange, new experience for Tohru, but she did want to make the most out of it. Strange and new didn’t necessarily mean bad, right?
The party seemed well under way and Tohru had been quite excited to find she had heard of several of the guests. But as that had sunk in, she realised that they were many high profile people now surrounding her and she.... was decidedly not high profile. The invite from this group had been sent to Themis, but was really for Artem. An excellent lawyer, smart and quick-thinking, with a high winning streak (to Tohru he had a 100% streak, no matter what the tabloids said).
However, he was working outside of the city and unable to attend. The head of the department was also busy working on a case. And so here she was. Excited to be part of something new and proud to represent Themis. But perhaps there was a touch of nerves, a cold settling around her heart as she looked around. She had never been to a party such as this before. Tohru was certain she could be polite but well.... what was the etiquette here?
Walking around the outside of the place, she smiled politely and decided it might be best to get a lay out of the land and work out who everyone was. Just like at a job, if she had some information she’d feel more at ease! The more she knew (and better prepared she was), the easier it would be to dive in!
As she passed a drinks table, she had to walk around someone. Whilst she paid attention, the other person did not and bumped the table causing a glass or two to spill. So engrossed in the conversation, they seemed not to notice the mistake and wandered off. Tohru... could not just do that. It would take a second to pick it up! Bending down, she picked up one glass but was dismayed to find the other broken. Glancing around with wide eyes, she tried to find a cloth or something she could use to carefully pick up the pieces. ....She should have just left this, but it would have felt wrong.
“uhm....” she cleared her throat and tried again. “excuse me? could you pass me that napkin? i just... it’s just to clear this up.” She probably looked like the hired help right now - a good job, but not doing Themis any favours.... She’d never speak to anyone or learn anything at this rate...
