Yeah that's the one regret of leaving homestuck, no other series has a concept of nonsexual intimacy that's held up to equal importance to traditional romance.
Even just going back and rereading some old pale stuff reminds me of how most everything else I’ve read since then doesn’t even TRY, compared to the full-fledged... importance? Care? Love? that pale romance got back in the Olden Days.
