So I'm on holiday and the caravan is freezing so I made this. It's not much but kinda cute ish. ENJOY. --------------------- I rolled over slowly, grasping the duvet up to my chin as the crisp morning air touches my nose. The apartment was always so cold this time of year. My boyfriend and roommate, Dan, rolled over after I did and faced me. I could feel the warmth of his breath on my face which sent a shiver down my spine. "Good morning, beautiful." He said in his husky morning voice. "Good morning." I replied. I pushed my body closer to his to capture some more of his warmth. This was my favourite time of the year. The time it was more comfortable to be as close as you can be with the one you love, not just because of emotion but also because it's too bloody freezing to be any more than an inch apart. "Are you cold?" He asked and I nodded. "Shall I go turn the heating on?" He slowly moved the duvet from him and placed one foot on the floor before I pulled him back. "No! Just stay here." I smiled and nuzzled my head under his arm so it was leaning on my shoulder. He turned so he was facing me properly and pulled me close and into a giant hug, rubbing the tops of my arms to warm them up. Everything was silent for a few moments before I spoke again. "Dan?" "Hmm?" "Can we make pancakes for breakfast?" "I thought you didn't want to move?" He laughed. "I'd move for pancakes." "Oh, I see. You'd rather get out of bed for pancakes than stay here with me." He jokingly sounded hurt. "That's correct." I smiled. Then he moved his hands so they were on the sides of my body and wiggled his fingers, tickling me. I gave a loud squeal and wriggled so quickly I fell off the bed. Dan didn't bother asking if I was ok, he laughed until he cried. And I did too. We spent about 10 minutes cry laughing until we ran out of breath. "So," I said after a big gasp for air. "What about these pancakes?" "First one to the kitchen gets an extra one?" Before I answered, I pulled myself from the floor and ran for the door. Dan did the same once he saw me moved and we bump right into each other at the doorway. "Move, fat bum!" I shouted. "That's it!" He laughed and ran after me. He met me in the kitchen and pushed my against the counter, tickling me once again. "Stop!... St-stop!" I shouted between giggles. He stopped tickling me and put his hands on the counter behind me on either side of my body. He leant his head towards mine so our foreheads were almost touching. "You're lucky I love you." He said with a straight face. "I know." I replied, kissing him. In the mist of all the laughter and running and tickling and kissing, I completely forgot about being cold. And, I got an extra pancake. Perfect.
HEY GUYS LOOK I HAVE AN IMAGINE FOR YOU TO READ WOO
i got a request for it ages and ages and ages ago and found it half finished in my notes so i finished off the first part and here it is, enjoy!
********************************
You’re laughing; Dan’s laughing; Phil’s laughing; you think you may have had a little too much to drink but, as you can still see straight enough, you’re not bothered. You always loved going out in London with Dan and Phil. Their drunk-selves are the funniest thing you’ve seen and the morning-afters are always fun because you never get hangovers but they get the worst ones you’ve ever witnessed.
It’s dark and, usually, you hate the dark but, because of your slight intoxication, you’re only caring about Dan and Phil’s presence tonight.
“Your dance moves… are the funniest… dance moves… ever…” You say in between bursts of laughter. Phil laughs more while Dan’s face straightens up.
“My moves aren’t that bad! They got you interested,” he winked. Which was true, you’ve liked Dan ever since you met him, but you don’t want to admit it.
“Whatever, Dan. Your moves stink, and that is that.” You reply, trying not to let on anything. He just winks again and you all keep walking.
You’re taken off guard when four men jump in front of the three of you wearing all black. They’re faces were covered which made you worry about what they’re intentions may be. One pushes Phil against a wall, searching in all his pockets. Is he trying to mug him? What is he looking for?
Another hits Dan with full force, causing you to scream rather loudly. Dan falls to the floor and you try to rush to his aid but the same guy, that hit Dan, pulls you up from the floor and throws you to the side. Phil is still being searched but it doesn’t seem like the man has found what he’s looking for so he pushes Phil to the floor close to where you are laying. You and Phil watch in horror as one of the men continues to hit Dan, over and over. You attempt to get up and get the men away from him, kicking and screaming, but you never succeed.
The biggest one of the four men pulls you away from hitting the other three and roughly pushes you aside. You fall to the floor and when you look back towards Dan, there is a gun being pointed at him. You think, why are they doing this? What have we done to deserve this? A gun? Really?
But before you realise what’s happening, you’ve jumped in front of the gun and the trigger had been pulled. You feel wet soaking through your jeans near the right side of your hip but everything has gone so blurry, you don’t get a chance to see what it was. You go blank.
Imagine #6: Living with Dan and Phil. ~ Requested by anon!
This took my fricking forever to finish! I just really didn't know how to word it.
p.s.
Sorry it's crap; I'll try do better with the next one!
**********************************
“Thank you, bye!” You shout as you close the door with 3 boxes of pizza in your hand. You walk back into the living room to find Dan swearing at Phil because he’s losing at Super Mario Bros, again. “Dan! Chill it!” Phil shouts back. You laugh and fall into the sofa placing the boxes on the floor. Dan and Phil notice the red, white and blue boxes, pause their game and scramble to them, opening every one. “You guys are so hot when you eat.” You say seductively but jokingly. Dan smiles at you awkwardly and you get confused at why. You look at Phil and he shrugs. You shrug too and go out the living room into the kitchen to get drinks. “Coke?” You ask walking out. Dan and Phil reply with “yes” in unison so that’s what you go to get. While you were in the kitchen you heard a slight murmur coming from the living room (which was Dan and Phil talking) but you couldn’t work out what was being said.
“What’s with the awkwardness between you and (y/n)?” Phil asks Dan. Dan shuffles and replies quietly with “nothing.” Phil doesn’t believe him and stares at him with raised eyebrows. “FINE!” He shouts, so loud that he realises you might have heard it and turns his head quickly towards the door to check you weren’t coming. “I kinda… I may… um… like (y/n) a little.” He whispers, still keeping an eye on the door. “I KNEW IT!” Phil shouts in excitement. Dan slaps his hand in front of Phil’s mouth and puts his index to his mouth gesturing Phil to be quiet. “You should tell her, Dan.” “Are you crazy, Phil? She would be disgusted. We live together for Christ’s sake; that would just make things awkward.” They both shut up as they hear you coming down the hallway. “Don’t say anything Phil… I mean it!”
You walk back in carrying a small try with three tall glasses of coke sat on top. “Here you go, boys!”. You notice the glare that Dan is giving Phil, “is everything ok?” You ask as you slowly drop into the sofa, sipping your drink. They both turn to you and Dan was quick to say that everything was ok. All three of you eat and drink while getting stitches from laughing too much, play more Mario and you think nothing of the earlier occurrences for the rest of the evening.
-
“Well I’m off to bed.” Phil announces as he pulls himself up from the floor. “Aw, already?” You say without noticing that it is in fact 3am. Phil nods, grabs his phone and walks out the room. “Night you two!” you and Dan reply simultaneously “night Phil!” which sends you both into laughter. “Ah Dan, tonight’s been fun but I think it’s time for me to head off to bed too.” “Yeah, I won’t be far behind!” You smile and Dan smiles back. “Night Dan.” “Night (y/n)”. He watches as you walk out the room and doesn’t take his eyes off you until he can see you no more. Phil walks past you on his way to fill up the glass he has in his hand with water. “Night Phil,” you say one more time as you walk in your room and close the door.
Phil notices Dan staring at you and giggles. “Shut up, Phil.” Dan protests. Phil laughs, “you must like her a lot.” “I do and it’s killing me. I want her to know, I really do, but I’m scared of how she’ll react. As I said before, we live together, we’ve been friends for years, I don’t want to ruin the relationship we have at the moment.” “I understand, Dan. But this can’t be healthy for you. What if she gets a boyfriend? That would crush you, and don’t try saying you’d be happy for her because I know you’d hate it. You’ve got to tell her before someone else gets there first.
You get into your room and realise that you’d like some water as well. First, you slip off your jeans and change your shirt into the baggy one Dan gave you a couple years ago. You made it your night shirt and wear it most nights. Once you’ve changed you slowly walk towards the kitchen and you can here Dan and Phil talking. You move carefully, making sure you make no noise so you can listen in on what they are saying.
“How long have you liked her?” You peer around the corner so that the two boys are in your view but you aren’t in theirs. Dan shuffles awkwardly and twiddles is fingers. Who does he like? You’re curious. “Only… Um… About 8 months.” “AND YOU HAVEN’T SAID ANYTHING?” “Shhhh, Phil! Keep your voice down!” Why does Dan want Phil to keep his voice down? You think you may be the one he likes but surely, it can’t be true. You’ve liked Dan for about a year but haven’t told anyone, except Phil. You had no choice with telling Phil as he ‘accidently’ found and read your diary. It would be a miracle if the boy you have liked for a year to like you back. “I can’t believe you’ve like (y/n) all this time and you’ve never said anything, not even to me!” “Sorry! But I couldn’t risk (y/n) finding out.” You swing yourself around so your back is facing the wall; you put a hand on your chest and feel your heart beating a mile a minute. You think to yourself Dan likes me, he actually likes me and you can’t believe it. You think you’ve got to do something; you feel as if you should burst in there and shout that you’ve liked him for a year and everything will end up happy but a part of you feels as though you’d regret it. What if things did end up happy but you broke up months down the line? You’d have to move out; it would all be too awkward. But for some reason, your mind can’t get over the fact that Dan likes you and the thought starts to overcome your whole body. You don’t realise you’re doing it but-
“You like me?!” You walk swiftly into the kitchen where Dan and Phil are stood in shock that you over heard what they were talking about. “Oh, (y/n)… I didn’t know you were there.” Dan starts acting awkward again, how could you expect anything more? “You like me. Is that true?” You start walking slowly towards Dan, eager to hear him say it to you face. “Oh, well…” “Just tell me, Dan.” “I like you, (y/n). Ok?! I have done for ages. I can’t get you out of my head. When you first moved in everything was fine but as time went on feelings grew and now-“ you cut him off with a kiss. You feel his body tense as you caught him off guard. As you pulled away you saw a smile on Dan’s face grow; you bit your lip and noticed Phil doing his happy dance in the corner of your eye. Everything felt amazing. It could only get better from here, right?
Imagine #5: Dan Accidently Gets You Pregnant And You Tell Him. ~ Requested by request-imagines
This was quite fun.
Imagining it all happen was quite overwhelming.
Hope you like it and it was what you wanted!
**********************************
Positive.
That word whirling round in your head. It wasn’t supposed to happen like this. You and Dan have been together for almost a year and haven’t once thought about having children; you are still children yourself, mentally.
‘How is Dan going to react? He won’t want anything to do with me after this. He’s not going to want the responsibility of looking after a child. Everything is ruined.’ You think.
~
You had had a bad day and when you returned back to the flat you shared with your boyfriend, Dan, all you wanted to do was curl up on the sofa and watch films all evening stuffing your upset face with ice-cream. But Dan had something else planned. When you arrived at the flat, you swung open the door – nearly knocking off a photo on the wall behind it – and flung your bags on the floor angrily. You walked sleepily into the living room to find a table dressed with a red cloth and white candles on silver stands. There were plates on either side of the table surrounded by a selection of cutlery you’d never seen before and a single red rose in a small vase place in the centre of the table. You stood stunned in the door way. In a matter of seconds, you feel two hands slowly slide from the bottom of your back around your waist and stop softly on your stomach. A chin rested on your shoulder and a slight whisper fell into your ear, “hello beautiful”. The voice makes your knees go weak and send shivers down your back. Dan knew what would make you melt and used it to his advantage whenever he got the chance.
~
It was such a lovely night, a beautiful memory, which has been ruined by the finger sized stick with two pick lines sat vertically in the small oval shaped window. You couldn’t think straight. You slumped onto the floor of the bathroom as tears formed in your eyes. Of course, you’d love this baby like there was no tomorrow but thinking of Dan’s reaction was denting your thought process. He’s busy with trying to make videos each week for his fans on YouTube and he’s recently started a radio show for Radio 1 with his best friend, Phil. The timing is all out and you had a sick feeling in your stomach that he’d freak and wish he’d never met you.
~
You and Dan were having the best night. Dan had cooked your favourite meal, played your favourite album on the CD player and constantly made you laugh with his cringey jokes. And what Dan had planned for dessert really tickled your fancy. Everything was going perfectly. After you had finished eating and finished listening to the whole album Dan stood up and held his hand out for you to hold. He pulled you up and pulled you gently out the living room towards your bedroom and gave you the dessert he promised. Dan had the power to change any bad day into the best you’ve ever had, and this day was one of them.
~
Little did you both know it would end up like this. You heard Dan come in the door and shout “honey, I’m home!” as he did every time her came back after being out all day. You shifted quickly and locked the bathroom door. Dan must have heard you do this as he came running towards the bathroom and knocked on the door. “(y/n)? Are you ok?” You can hear the worried tone in his voice and try to answer without sounding like you’d been crying, “Yes, Dan. I’m fine! I’ll be out in a minute!” but it didn’t quite work. “Have you been crying?” He asks. This makes more tears come flowing out your eyes, splashing onto the floor below. “Open the door, (y/n), please?” He was being so nice, you tried to protest but he insisted you opened the door so you pulled yourself up from the floor, unlocked the door. Dan bursts in and stands in shock at the sight of you with black mascara running down your face. “(y/n)? What is it?” He steps closer to you and rests his hand on your shoulder. You gesture towards the pregnancy test on the bathroom counter and his eyes move towards what you were pointing at. His eyes widen as he picks it up to look at it closer. “Are you… Is it… Positive?” You nod and he leans against the bathroom counter. You start crying again and he pulls you quickly into a tight hug. “Don’t worry about it, (y/n). This could be the best thing to happen to us. Sure, the timing isn’t great but we can do this. I love you and will be here with you through it all.” You sigh and pull your arms up and around his neck. Everything you thought was going to happen didn’t and Dan was ok with it. Thankfully.
Imagine #4: Dan Is Nervous About Asking You Out... ~ Part Two.
part one
A/N: This took me so fricking long to write up. After I thought I'd finished, I thought of a load of other things to add to it but couldn't be bothered because it has taken me TOO LONG TO GET IT TO THIS POINT. So sorry it isn't as good as the first part:( I TRIED OK.
**********************************
There she is. Music in ear, book in hand; I can only imagine what’s going through that wonderful mind of hers right now. I see she has already ordered her coffee so I order mine before going over to her. She looks so happy reading that book; I almost don’t want to disturb her.
“(y/n)? Hi,” I take a seat across from her so we’re sat face to face. She puts her bookmark between the two pages she was reading and turns off her music.
“Dan! Hey! How are you?” She smiles at me so I can’t not smile back. For a moment, I get distracted by the beautiful blue orbs looking back at me and then realise she asked me a question I should probably answer.
“Oh… I’m great thank you. Yourself?” It still doesn’t seem real that I’m out having coffee with the one girl I’ve been head over heels for, for almost a year.
“I’m very well, thank you.” She smiles and takes a sip of what looks like hot chocolate. I notice on her iPod’s screen that she was listening to Feeling Good by Muse, which sparked an amazing two hours of conversation. I learnt so much more about her. Her favourite: band, song, concert, place, food, colour, month, time of day, ice-cream flavour; even her favourite word. I never thought I could be this happy. Was it too good to be true?
-
“I was surprised when I got your call; I thought you had forgotten about me.” How could she think I had forgotten about her? I haven’t stopped thinking about her since the day we met. (y/f/n) came to Phil’s birthday party and brought (y/n) along with her. (y/n) looked so beautiful; I have no idea how I managed to get her number. Since then, we’ve had the odd conversation but I haven’t spoken to her much at all since I realised I had properly fallen for her.
“Oh, really? I could never forget about you.” She looked at me a little shocked and confused.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” She kind of awkwardly smiles and I forget how to breathe. How do I explain that without telling her all I’m feeling?
“Uh… Um… It doesn’t mean anything… I mean...” I could feel the heat building on my cheeks making them the deepest shade of red.
“Oh, alright.” She looks at her phone searching for the time. She says ‘oh’ under her breath and starts looking around for her belongings. “Time flies when you’re having fun but I best be off now.” She stands, grabs her coat and bag and begins to walk towards the door of Starbucks.
“No, (y/n), wait.” I see myself grab her arm and she turns quickly as if I had made her jump. She looks at my hand wrapped around her arm as if disgusted that I had just touched her. I let go and look sheepishly towards the floor. “Sorry, I just… have something to say before you go.”
“Go on?” She turns to face me fully and crosses her arms in front of her chest. I can’t believe I just told (y/n) that I have something to tell her; now it’s got to be good or she’ll hate me for wasting her time. I take a deep breath and look at her in those amazing blue eyes.
“I like you, (y/n). Ever since we met at Phil’s party, when (y/f/n) brought you round, I find myself always thinking about you. Though we haven’t talked much, I feel as though I’ve known you for so much longer than is true. Today has been the best day of my life; getting to talk to you for hours about so many random things, getting to know you better. It’s a day I’ll remember forever. I love everything about you; you’re beautiful, intelligent, a little dorky at times and it would make me the happiest person alive if you’d agree to going out with me again sometime?” I am shocked at how I said all that without stuttering. We are still gazing into each other eyes and she seems speechless. Her mouth is a little open and her arms (that were crossed tightly) are much looser.
“Oh wow, Dan. I’m speechless.” Knew it. “I can’t believe you feel that was as well.” Hold up.
“As well?” Now that was something I wasn’t expecting. Could it be? Could (y/n) actually have feelings for me, the same feelings as I have for her? It can’t be true.
“As well. I really like you Dan, I have since the second I laid eyes on you across the room at Phil’s party. When you were chatting to PJ, do you remember? You looked at me, noticed I was staring and smiled. That beautiful smile with those cute dimples. I’m going a little off topic,” She moved her eyes from mine to the floor when she realised what she was admitting. Hearing her express the memory is the best sound. I remember that moment as if it were yesterday and am still gobsmacked at the fact she likes me back. “I would love to go out with you again sometime. Text me?” She smiles, grasps her belongings tighter again and begins to turn towards the door, again.
“I will.” After all that, is that all you could say?Out of everything I could have said as a reply to all she had told me, all I could get to come out was ‘I will’. I froze as (y/n) stood up on her toes and kissed my cheek. She turned and began walking towards the door, opened it and stepped out. Before the door closed, she turned back to look at me and said: “don’t make me wait too long”.
-
I text her that evening and we were set to go out again next weekend. This is definitely the start of something amazing, I can just feel it.
Imagine #3: ‘My Boyfriend Does My Makeup’ Tag ~ Requested by Kim!
ENJOY.
**********************************
You set your camera up and ready to start the video.
You’re doing a ‘my boyfriend does my makeup’ video with your boyfriend of 2 years, Dan. You started making YouTube videos when you two first met and you’ve become quite a popular person, and couple, all over the internet. Your subscribers had been asking you to do a ‘my boyfriend does my makeup’ tag video for quite some time now so you thought, why the hell not.
Dan is sat behind you going through your bag of makeup. He pulls out bottles, tubes, pens, desperately trying to work out what they do. You look over to him and giggle and his awkward face.
“The camera is ready, are you?” Dan is lost in your bottomless pit of makeup.
“What the fuck does this do to your face? It looks like a marker pen.” He holds up an eyeliner pen.
“Read it. I can’t tell you what it all does, that’s the whole point of this: you do it yourself!” Dan is still mesmerized by everything you use on a daily basis. You start recording and instantly regret it. Dan shook one of your bottles of foundation and lost his grip. It flew into the back of your head causing you to jerk forwards, hitting into the camera and making it fall off its stand. “OW!” You shout as you rub the place the bottle hit.
“Oh my god, (y/n), I’m so sorry,” Dan rushes towards you and brings you in for a hug. He kisses the back of your head hoping you won’t be mad at him. “Are you ok?”
“Yes, yes. I’m fine! Shall we just get this over and done with before you do more damage?” You giggle at his serious and scared expression. He nods and shuffles forward so his sat next to and facing you. You pick up the camera off the floor, checking nothing has broken, and prop it back on its stand. You hit the record button and greet your viewers. “Hello, everyone! I’m here today with Dan,” You point at him as a cue for him to say hi.
“Heeeeey!” and he waves.
“So, by popular demand, we’re here today to do the ‘my boyfriend does my makeup’ tag. Now I don’t know how this is going to go,” You move closer to the camera and whisper: “probably horribly!”
“HEY, I heard that!” You turn and move slightly so the camera can see Dan’s face. He’d crossed his arms and given a child’s tantrum face; you both laugh and get on with the video. He starts with what he guessed to be foundation – he guessed right. He applied it to your face with a makeup sponge he found. “Oh wow, (y/n), don’t you look beautiful already,” he laughing to himself, you could tell he was obviously putting too much on and making you look orange.
“Don’t make me look like an oompa-loompa!” You both start laughing while he begins to put powder on your cheeks. “Don’t make me laugh or you’ll end up poking me in the eye!” He’s got his concentration face on, the one he does when he plays piano, you can’t help but smile at his expression.
“You’ll look great don’t worry! Now stop talking and let me concentrate.” He’s getting into it now. You take a deep breath to calm yourself down and stop giggling. He finds eyeshadow and a brush and started applying some to your eyes. He chose the brightest of pink that you didn’t even know you owned. He dabbed the brush in the pot so many times, the powder was clumped on the end – you just knew you’d end up looking like a transvestite. After, Dan slowly applied mascara and eyeliner, being careful not to poke you in the eye (which he did, twice), turned his head and smiled. “There.” He announces he’s finished and passes you a mirror because you didn’t turn the camera so you could see the recording – keeping the look a surprise. You gasp.
“Oh. My. Dan.” You look up and him, and he seems so pleased with himself. You smile at him, “I look fantastic.” He leans down and kisses you on your nose. You turn to the camera, “Well, there you go guys. Now you know, never to let Dan do your makeup. Because you’ll end up looking like a male cross-dresser (you laugh). Bye guys!” Dan switches the camera off and stands staring at you. “Dan, quick, pass me that pack of wipes!” Pointing at the wipes, you notice Dan’s shocked and hurtful expression. “What? You actually think I’d go round looking like this? You did wonderfully, love. But um… I’m not going out like this,” He laughs and passes you the wipes. Before you get a chance to wipe the makeup off your face, Dan stops you with a kiss.
“I still think you look beautiful.” He grabs your camera and walks out the room to go start editing it.
That was one video idea you won’t be thinking about doing again!
**********************************
A/N: I really had no idea how to set this one out so I hope it's not tooooo bad.
Thanks for your request, Kim! Was a good challenge.
Imagine #2: Dan Is Nervous About Asking You Out But Phil Convinces Him To Just Do It ~ Requested by Taylor!
*********************************
A/N: I hope this is the sort of thing you were after...
I may have altered it a bit, and not done the full "asking you out" that you had planned for it, but maybe I could do a part 2 if you wanted to know what happens next :P Let me know if you do... If not, then um. Never mind. Hahaha, ENJOY.
*********************************
DAN'S P.O.V.
“What do I like about her? Well, in no particular order, she has a beautiful personality and can laugh at anything, including herself. She is especially caring to others, sometimes more than to herself. She is someone who knows the value of having fun, and not taking life too seriously. (Y/n) is one that you can trust and count on to brighten your day. She is a woman who can instantly make you feel really good just by being around her. She is also someone who I will never really get to know because she will never want to know me. She’s too perfect to even think about being with someone like me, her standards are too high. She’s too beautiful for me.” Thinking about how amazing (y/n) is, is making me feel quite sad and empty inside. I want her to be mine. I wish for it to be true 24/7 but I know that she won’t go for a guy like me so why should I bother trying. Phil stares at me blankly, obviously not expecting that response when he asked what I like about (y/n).
“Wow, Dan, you need to tell her.” His eyes are so wide, like he’s seen a ghost.
“Phil, are you crazy? I can’t do that! I’m not prepared for rejection.” As much as it pains me to keep it all a secret, I couldn’t have (y/n) knowing and not feeling the same way - that would be too awkward.
“How do you know she’ll reject you?” He gives me a really intimidating glare that makes me feel like 10,000 elephants have been forced on top of me.
“Well, why would she accept me? She has so much potential, so much going for her and she deserves so much more than I’d ever be able to give her. I think I love her, Phil. All I want is for her to be happy and that means me leaving her alone.” I try to end the subject there and walk out the room but Phil obviously wasn’t done.
“No. Dan. Listen to me. You HAVE to tell (y/n) how you feel. Whether she feels the same way or not, I don’t know. But I do know, that even if you do get reject, you will feel better about letting it off your chest. If you don’t let her know EVERYTHING, you’ll regret it. Maybe not now, or next week, but at some point when another guy gets to her before you, you will regret it. Now you call her, you ask her out for coffee or something and you talk to her. Just please, talk to her. For my sake, if not yours.” He smiles at the last bit to let me know he’s joking, and that it’s not really bothering him that I tell him things like this. I realise he’s probably right and nod.
“Ok, ok. Thanks, Phil. I will.” He smiles and leaves the room. I grab my phone from my back pocket and dial (y/n)’s number. It’s ringing and I’m scared. I can feel a lump in my throat and I’m starting to shake.
“Hello?” Her voice. It gives me butterflies and I can’t help but melt inside whenever she says a word.
“Um… Hi… (y/n)? It’s Dan.” I’m such a gimp when it comes to phone calls- especially when (y/n) is on the other end of the phone.
“Oh, hey Dan!” I can tell she’s smiling and that is a beautiful sight to think of.
“Hi… um… I was just calling to ask… I mean if you weren’t doing anything... I wondered if you’d maybe… If you’d like to…” I am so nervous, I can’t even think straight.
“I would love to go out with you some time, Dan. Just text me the details of when and where and I’ll see you then.” How did she know from my stuttering, that that was what I wanted. She’s too perfect. She hung up quite quickly so I text her when and where:
“Tomorrow, 1pm, Starbucks?”
And I waited for her reply:
“Perfect. See you then x”
Thanks to Phil, we’re going out for coffee and she seems happy about it. Maybe there’s a chance she’ll like me after all. We’ll have to wait and see.
