“You're his fiancee. You stay at the house all day, you have no job... exactly why does he still require a maid?”
“If you think I stay at home all day, then you’re a confirmed idiot. Besides, you have your own home, yet I still feel your disgusting energy here in ours.”
@lordcurtiss
☆ What type of fantasy AU would you like to do one day?
Well, I guess it depends on what you consider “fantasy”, considering we are talking about the Tales series. But since you ask, I do like the idea of the monster AU that you already have for Jade, and I think royalty AU would be interesting for a more himedere-like Edna (which is not something I often write, since she is normally a more quiet but sarcastic character)

“It doesn’t look like we have much of a choice in this matter, do we?”
((Continuation from here: @jadistic-necromancer))
What an odd question from the stranger.
“Oh, I don’t know. Would you say the most powerful fonic artist in Auldrant’s history is ‘good at wielding magic’?”
「 ??? 」
“ .......” A phonist...? Fonist? Auldrant...? What on Aernas are those? Confusion was clearly written on the Master Assassin’s face at those new terms.
“.... Assuming the ‘Fonist’ part is the title for those wielding magic, and Auldrant is a place in your world?” Why does that resemble music? Maybe a mage that specialized in musical scores? It was unbecoming of him to make assumptions without much clear information. “Although.... the process is the same....” Magic always require symbolism or incantation. But Fonist? Some fancy name for Mages...
(prince-of-the-sacred-flame, of course) Luke waits outside the bathroom to catch her before any of the servants come by. He grabs Natalia's left arm and leans in, hushed voice and all, to ask the question that had been bugging him for the past week. “Are you... pregnant?"
pregnancy sentence starters.
She’s tired- exhausted really. There’s nothing she’d rather do than go back to bed, but a princess’ work is never done. When Luke grabs a hold of her arm, she starts in surprise. The question is... not unexpected, but terrifying all the same.
‘’Y-yes...’’ she says, in a voice almost too quiet to hear. Hazel eyes flick up to meet green, trying to gauge his reaction.

Jade had been used, like many demons, by humans for hundreds of years. Some ended up bound to a human for life, some just forced into endless requests from magicians that had no business requesting them. So Jade locked his summoning spell away in an enchanted tome, only to be opened by those with the powers of raising the dead. It was a sensible idea- only a human already aligned with another demon could even possess that ability. Jade was fairly certain he might never be summoned again, and yet, here he was, finding himself away from his home once more.
“You…” Jade took a moment to contain himself as he found his body on earth once more. He stared at the tome in the young human’s hands, then into his eyes. He was worthy. “It appears you found my summoning rite within the pages of Indignation. I am Jade, demon of storms, at your will.” A bow- respectful but cold, was offered to the human.
It was rare that Asutsuo would visit the remains of his home village, choosing to avoid reliving the memories of that horrid day, the day he lost hope in humanity as a whole.
But this visit had a purpose. While the village had been charred, the buildings were still fairly intact, including his home where the bookshelf of his father’s tomes sat. One in particular, Indignation, he wanted to find. It thankfully survived the fires but was not unscathed as some pages were charred or missing. It took him and Stolas working as a team to piece together the rite to summon the demon in the tome.
“It looks as though we’ve succeeded,” He mused quietly, not bothered at by the demon’s coldness. “I am Asutsuo Johann-Faust, son of Digros Johann-Faust the legendary Necromancer. Ah, but you’ve been asleep awhile, you may not even know him.”
