"My own bouquet creation at Yamazaki Lily Farm"

Mr. Yusaku Yamazaki, a Holland Alumni member who studied Dutch flower farming at Japan Agricultural Exchange Council (JAEC) hosted a special spring event to experience his gouges lily. Participants learnt a little bit of lily farming and enjoyed making their own bouquet with beautiful flowers. The lily bulbs were imported from the Netherlands!

先日の土曜日、同窓会ネットワークのメンバーで、オランダで農業を学ばれた山崎氏がホストをしてくださり、千葉県佐倉市にある同氏の山崎農園にて春のフラワーブーケ作りイベントが行われました。山崎氏による百合栽培の楽しいレッスンの後、山崎氏ご夫婦が丹誠込めて育てた百合を中心に豪華なブーケ作りを楽しみました。百合の球根はオランダから輸入しているとのことでしたよ！チューリップだけではないのですね！

With the cooperation of Floworld, two teachers helped the participants from how to choose flowers till how to dress them. Everyone enjoyed the steps and were satisfied by their own success!  Following the lily farm event, they appreciated so many tulips and a real Dutch wind-mil at Sakura Tulip Festival.  

ブーケ作りには国際こども花基金さんのご協力により、フラワーアレンジメントの先生が二人も参加してくださいました。花の選択からブーケを包むところまで、参加者全員が彩り素敵なブーケ作りを楽しんでいましたよ。男性陣も意外なセンスを発見した一日だったようです！

午後は佐倉市チューリップフェスティバルへ移動し、風車の中でチューリップを満喫しました。
