Jaehyo glanced at the woman now stood in front of him, at least his beauty made more sense now. He clearly took more after his mother than he did his father. He smiled at her softly not sure how she would take his presence. “Are you Melinoe?”

     she shut her eyes to prevent from rolling them, hands slipping hidden behind her back as she laced her fingers together and took a small breath. "that would be me, yes. how can i help you?" in all honestly she couldn't remember a single face of her children, after all she had been the bad mother to leave each and every one of them.

It had taken him quite a bit of time, more than he'd admit to, but he had finally managed to find the dorm in which Melinoe resided. He knew that he wanted to meet his mother, but couldn't help but think it would be better to keep his distance from her. That way he wouldn't be disappointed if she didn't want anything to do with him, she had abandoned him after all. He sighed and reached up to knock on the door, almost hoping that she wasn't inside.

     another knock. the empty room echoed the knock towards her and as soon as the sound reached her ears and caught her attention she stood up to leave her bed. the gown she wore wasn't special at all, more like a black long drape that kept her covered and exposed only the outline of her figure. it was dragged against the ground as she silently pulled the handle down and pushed the door open only to meet a face she couldn't recognize yet. "yes?"
