Music class...music class.
There are a hundred and one students practically buzzing around the halls as they find their way to their respective classes and he's left standing in the middle of it all, confused like a lost tourist from the country who's found himself in the middle of a busy city street (and it isn't exactly that far off from the truth). Half of him wanted to give up, but he sighs and musters up the courage to finally stop one of the all too energetic students and ask for directions towards the class that's printed on his paper-- his schedule, they said-- and he enters through the back door of said room to perch himself on the seat closest to the door so he can just as easily get out when the class ends.
He doesn't know how these things go, doesn't know anyone, so he brings his guitar along in its case so he at least has something familiar to hold onto, and with the natural excited buzzing of conversations around him, he pays no attention to nothing in particular until someone decides to occupy the seat next to him. It isn't till then that he figures he should maybe at least see what kind of person they are (though to him it probably won't matter too much anyway) and to his surprise, he actually finds someone he knows. Someone he knew, anyway, and though he doesn't really do the whole 'reconnecting with people from your past' bull, he thinks it probably wouldn't hurt to talk to her now, since she just so happens to find her way back into his present anyway.
"Fresh out of the loony bin, huh? Or are we just in another mental hospital-- sometimes I can't even tell the difference." he chides, leaning forwards against his guitar case with a grin as he anticipates her response.
