“Good morning to you too.” Jongin grins.

He takes a seat on the chair nearby as Jongin stirs from bed, cracking a half-grin. “How’s your head? You went pretty hard last night.”

“It’s ok. I kind of showed up unannounced” he then closely looked at other. “Is everything ok though and I just came to visit.”

He moved his hand dismissively. “It’s fine, your company is welcomed in these parts.” He started walking towards the kitchen, giving a motion for Woobin to follow. “Everything is okay with me, yeah. I guess we haven’t discussed it before but, my dad’s an asshole. Do you want any coffee?” The man glanced back at his friend as he reached for his own mug. “I was gonna head to the gym in a little bit too. You’re welcome to join if you’re free.”

‘ i heard everything. ’

His eyes widened, not expecting to see Woobin standing there. “Ah…hyung..” He slid his phone into his back pocket, releasing a sigh. He followed with a hollow smile, trying to dismiss the matter before it could be prolonged. “Yeah, my relationship with my father is…not the best. Kinda complicated.” Jaebum chuckled quietly, mind working to recall all the details Woobin might’ve overheard during the call. “I apologize for you having to hear all that. Anyway, was there something you needed?”

“Okay, I’ll be frank. I really don’t understand why you’re doing that, or why you’re even here. Jiyeon told me to trust you, though, so I’m going off of good faith.”
