Jaguar Vision
Jaguar is a prestigious British brand with a distinguished history. It was founded in 1935, when the Coventry-based SS Cars produced the first car called the Jaguar, which bore the official designation SS 2 1/2 Liter. Its creator was William Lyons, who opened the Swallow Sidecar motorcycle sidecar workshop in Blackpool in 1922, which eventually developed into a body shop and then into an automaker.

Jaguar has unveiled the Vision GT SV virtual racing car, an evolution of the 2019 Vision Gran Turismo Coupe. The GT SV is more perfect: it received a four-engine power plant with a total capacity of 1903 horsepower, which provides the hypercar with acceleration from zero to 100 km / h in 1.65 seconds. Like last year's Vision Gran Turismo Coupe, it was designed for Gran Turismo and recreated in real-world life size.

Electric motors are installed on each wheel of the car, and each has its own single-speed gearbox. Compared to last year's Vision Gran Turismo Coupe, the power has almost doubled, from 1020 to 1903 forces, and almost three times more thrust - 3360 Nm against 1200. The maximum speed has also increased - now it is not 322 kilometers per hour, but all 410. Except In addition, the Vision GT SV is equipped with intelligent all-wheel drive and wheel traction optimization.
Design Jaguar Vision
The virtual hypercar was developed by Jaguar Design, the Jaguar Racing team and the SV division. The Vision GT SV features a streamlined, lightweight body structure made of composite material. Some elements of the futuristic design have been borrowed from the classic models of the brand, for example, the curvature of the fenders is reminiscent of the C-type and D-type cars.

However, special attention was paid to aerodynamics. A new, larger front splitter and folding rear wing (a tribute to the XJR-14 racing car) have increased downforce and improved traction. The front bumper vents in turn direct air over the front wheels, thereby reducing turbulence and helping air flow to the rear of the vehicle unhindered.

Below, behind the front axle, there is a keel element - its task is to ensure stability at high speeds and accelerate the air flow, while reducing its pressure. The drag coefficient of the Vision GT SV is 0.398 Cx, and the downforce at 322 kilometers per hour is 483 kilograms.

The cabin is equipped with two anatomical racing seats, upholstered in the new technological fabric TypeFibre - it serves as an eco-friendly alternative to leather, not inferior to the latter in terms of durability. This fabric is planned to be used in the future on the I-Type 5 during the seventh season of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
Design Jaguar Vision
The all-electric Jaguar Vision Gran Turismo SV was built as a full-scale model by Jaguar Design.
