Beau had always been the best big brother for his two younger siblings but that was until the two younger ones joined him in school. The nice big brother took a seat back and the ‘I’m too cool to be seen as caring’ brother took over. He’d tease the two younger ones at school, maintain a distance from them and give them the occasional banter whenever his friends were around. While Beau never crossed the line, it, unfortunately, gave bullies an easy way to target the twins. If their own brother was teasing them, surely he wouldn’t mind others teasing the boys, right?

The bullying had a very bad effect on the twins. It had Jai being depressed as he was often the target. It had the boys often ending up with an injury of some kind. But most importantly, it distanced them from their big brother.
In fact, Beau would have never known about the bullies attacking his own brothers if he hadn’t been keeping an eye on Jai that day. The youngest one had woken up not feeling too good but hadn’t let Beau hover around him. So the boy decided to keep an eye on his brother given that Luke was supposed to be out for football practice.
And that’s how after school, he walked right into where his own friends had his baby brother against the locker with a black eye.

“Don’t you dare” Beau gritted through his teeth.
“We were just messing with him, Beau.” The bullies tried to explain.
“Then why does he have a black eye?” Beau asked, before mumbling, “Run away before I hurt you.”
The bullies ran away while Beau crouched down in front of his brother.
“Lukey? It hurts…” Jai whimpered.
“It’s not Luke, kiddo. It’s me Beau” the boy mumbled, squeezing Jai’s shoulder when the boy looked up at him.
He was thankful for the bell as he helped Jai out, not missing how his brother went silent as soon as he noticed him.

As they got home, Beau got Jai in bed and got an ice pack for his eye.
“Luke?” Jai called out again.
“He went for his football practice buddy” Beau whispered, a bit sad at how his younger brother was mostly asking for his twin rather than his big brother.
“Jai, did the boys always bully you?” Beau asked and when Jai nodded, he asked again, “why did you never tell me?”
Jai shrugged at that, instead, asking, “Can we call Luke?”
Sighing, Beau gave Luke a call who told him that he was stuck in traffic and when he relayed the news to Jai, he didn’t miss the little quivering of the lips.

Once Luke reached, Jai actually sobbed out as his older twin pulled him in a hug.
“Those same guys huh?” Luke asked as he pressed the ice pack to Jai’s eye.
Jai nodded.
“Why didn’t you guys ever tell me?” Beau asked.
“Jai told me not to” Luke mumbled before mouthing ‘sworn to secrecy.’
Beau shook his head.
“I thought you wouldn’t care since they’re your friends” Jai admitted.
“Oh buddy, I teased you… Pushed you two away because I had to maintain the cool dude image but I never thought all this would happen” Beau sighed before mumbling, “It’s my fault anyway.”
“It’s not your fault but your friends’ fault” Jai whispered.
“They’re not my friends anymore. You both matter more to me than them and the cool dude image” Beau said, heaving a sigh of relief when both boys shared a look before diving in his arms for a hug.

The bullies had a hard time the next day. Beau had them on a warning from both the school and himself. He then proceeded to keep an eye on both his brothers and spend more time with them not caring what anyone would say. He had to work hard to get the trust of his brothers back but he was willing to show them that he cares, no matter how.

There are days when Beau really wondered if he was the eldest of a group or was he in charge of a bunch of toddlers. Especially when it comes to his little brothers, Beau doubted that the boys were any older than a five year old. Make no mistake, the two boys were in their 20s, had had their fare shares of highs and lows but it still amazes Beau as to how they would be as curious as a little boy, and often let their excitement lead them to trouble. Maybe that was why big brother Beau was always looking out for them.

It was perhaps also one of the factors as to why Beau was always worried about his siblings. It didn’t take much for them to let their curiosity take over. Recently, they went to the next state for a gig and a few band-related meetings.
It was at the point where winter was slowly fading away but it was still kind of chilly. They had gotten down the car and were walking towards the hotel when Jai spotted a frozen lake not far from the hotel.
“Look” the boy gasped, already walking towards the lake when Beau caught him by the back of his shirt.
“No way! It doesn’t look safe out there! Do you see anyone there?” Beau gently scolded the boy.
“You’re no fun” Jai pouted at him.
Beau was left shaking his head.

Beau should have known that him stopping the boy from checking out the lake was not going to satisfy the boy’s curiosity. Throughout the evening he heard Jai speaking to Luke about the frozen lake. He had even tried to rope in James and Daniel.
“Jai, what are we? Five?” Beau snapped, “When I told you that no one is going to the frozen lake then I mean it.”
“Fine” Jai sighed, looking quite disappointed.
Feeling bad for having snapped at the boy, Beau reached over to ruffle his hair. But he would rather have an upset baby brother over a hurt one.

Unfortunately, Jai decided to ignore his brother’s warning. Curiosity had always been one of Jai’s biggest vices. He had somehow convinced Luke to accompany him as they went to check the frozen lake out. They lied to James and Daniel, saying that they were just going for a walk.
It seemed pretty harmless to simply walk around the lake and explore. But that was until Jai found that gliding across the lake was fun. Luke watched him for a while before letting Jai goad him into joining him out there.
He reached out to grab on to the boy’s hand when the ice gave out and suddenly Jai was pulled down as he fell through the ice.
Luke could only gasp in horror.

Luke could only shout for his brother as he tried to break the ice. Fortunately, his shouts had attracted the attention of Daniel and James who weren’t too far from him.
“Where’s Jai?” Daniel asked.
“He fell through the ice. Skip, we need to get him out” Luke exclaimed.
“I’ll call for Beau” James offered.
It wasn’t long until Beau was running to the lake with James in tow. He had a feeling that something was wrong and he could already feel a sense of panic grip him when he saw James running to him.
But if he wasn’t already panicking then watching Luke try to break the ice where Jai had disappeared did make his heart tremble.

For some seconds, his feet remained frozen but then he found himself rushing forward, frantically searching for his younger brother.
“Beau, get him out” Luke’s panicked voice cut through Beau’s frozen state.
Together with Daniel, Beau started kicking the ice where Jai had fallen into and once they got through it, they pulled Jai up. They could finally sigh in relief when they got Jai out but their relief turned into panic again when they saw that Jai had turned completely blue.
“Beau, he is barely breathing” Luke gasped.
“We need to get him back to the hotel quickly!” Beau said and realizing that no one had moved yet in shock, Beau shouted, “Move it boys.”
They’d have to act fast now.

The hotel in which they were staying wasn’t really too renowned and their facilities weren’t the best. The boys were only staying there because the roads ahead were jammed which in the Janoskian’s case was a real bad thing right now as ideally a hospital would have been the best thing right now. They would have to wait to get the boy to a hospital but meanwhile they had to help the boy from plunging into hypothermia.
They managed to get Jai inside and helped him out of his wet clothes and into warmer ones. They piled blankets over him but nothing seemed to be working.
“Jai” Luke patted Jai’s cheeks to wake him up, nearly on the verge of tears himself.
“I have an idea” Beau said as he removed his shirt and climbed in with Jai, pulling the boy closer to his chest. He winced at the cold feeling but rubbed the boy’s back wishing the boy to warm up quickly.
Luke stayed close, rubbing the boy’s hands.
All they could hope now was for Jai to wake up before dawn.

Somewhere in the early hours of the morning, Jai finally woke up.
“Oh thank God” James sighed.
“I was so worried” Luke sobbed in relief, not bothering to hide his tears.
“I’m okay” Jai whispered, looking over at his big brother and bracing himself for a stern talk as he asked, “You mad?”
“Shouldn’t I be mad? You went there specifically after I told you not to and look what happened” Beau huffed.
“I’m sorry” Jai mumbled, tugging onto Beau’s hand.
“I know kiddo. You got me so scared. We’re getting you to the hospital tomorrow morning” Beau said as he pulled the younger one in a hug.
Jai didn’t bother arguing, instead he cuddled closer to his big brother, letting Luke also in the hug.

Jai was utterly grateful that the boys found him. True to what he said, Beau got him admitted in the hospital the next morning. Beau sharing body heat with him turned out to be a life-saving idea for Jai. But the boy definitely learnt his lesson. His curiosity always lands him in trouble. And it is probably why Beau always had to be watching out for the boy. But he would gladly do that in order to keep his little brother out of trouble.

There are days which just aren’t your days. These past few days weren’t really good days for Jai. They had been doing so many pranks, so many challenges and filming so many videos lately that the boy was just too tired now. Not to mention that he had been at the receiving end of so many pranks lately that the boy was just fed up. This all had a direct impact on Jai’s mood and hence his mood took quite a bit of a blow.

It was just that kind of day where nothing was going Jai’s way.
First of all, early morning, Jai’s alarm didn’t go off. And when he got down, the boys were already done with breakfast and packing to get going. The poor boy only had time to grab an apple and hurry behind the boys. Not to say that the boys weren’t quite happy with the boy.
Then came that little mistake from Jai which had the boys seriously mad at him. Jai was the one who had taken the responsibility of getting permission for them to shoot the video at a specific location and the boy did what was asked of him but he forgot the papers at home.
“Useless. Utterly useless” Luke kept mumbling as he walked away.
Surely he meant, driving so far without the permission papers was useless and not Jai was useless, right?

Then came shooting of the video itself and the amount of goofs up Jai did, got them all irritated.
“Pay attention damn it. We don’t have the whole day.” James shouted at Jai.
“Oh come on Jai, you’re going out of the frame. How hard is it for you to sit still” Daniel yelled.
A little shocked at the scolding, Jai tried his best to just get over with filming the video but unknowingly got on the boys’ nerves again and again.
The only one who did not shout at Jai was Beau. He merely patted Jai on the shoulder, offering him a sad smile.

Jai thought that if he tried to be of some kind of help to the boys then they would stop being angry at him. So the boy volunteered to edit and upload the video on YouTube. An hour after he uploaded the video, Luke burst through his room in a pure rage.
“Where’s the video?” Luke asked.
“What do you mean? I already uploaded it” Jai said.
“Then where is it?” James asked.
“He didn’t upload it. I’m sure he forgot to do so” Daniel said.
“What’s wrong with you Jai? I’ve been observing you since the past few days now. All you’re doing is be a mess yourself and create a mess for us” Luke shouted at Jai.
“Try be useful for once, Jai” James yelled.
“Can’t even do a job properly. What are you even good for?” Daniel huffed.
One can only take so many hurtful words against oneself quietly. Jai lowered his head, running out of the room.

Since childhood, Jai had a habit. If he was upset, he would run up to the terrace and sit in a corner, gazing at the sky.
Eyes full of tears, the boy hid himself in corner, crying his heart out in his knees. Lost in his tears, he never heard or saw Beau follow him to his hiding spot but he did feel the hand rubbing his back and could recognize his big brother even before lifting his head.
“You have to calm down buddy” Beau mumbled.
“They didn’t even listen to me. I swear I uploaded the video” Jai sobbed as he let his big brother pull him in his arms.
Jai didn’t care that he probably sounded like a little kid complaining to his big brother about mean bullies, he was just too upset at the time.
Sometimes when you have bad days, all you need is someone to hold you as you cry the frustrations out of yourself.

It spoke volumes about how upset Jai was that he didn’t even detach himself from Beau when they heard footsteps coming their way.
“Knew I’d find you here. Jai’s favorite hiding spot, huh?” Luke mumbled as he crouched down in front of Jai.
“YouTube was down. They were having some technical issues. The video just went up” James informed them.
“We’re so sorry buddy. We didn’t believe you. And we shouted at you too” Daniel apologized.
“So sorry Jai” Luke apologized too.
“Guys, sometimes you need to understand that one could be having a bad day. It’s not fair to shout at someone who is already having a bad day” Beau said.
“A couple of bad days, you mean” Jai said.
Beau sighed, letting Jai snuggle in his side. They all shared a look with each other, determined to put an end to Jai’s bad days.

The next day when Jai woke up, his alarm hadn’t gone off but he had to admit that a full night sleep did make him feel better. When he came down, he found the boys having breakfast and had to smile when a plate of pancakes was pushed towards him.
“What’s the schedule for today?” Jai asked after breakfast.
“Nothing” James said.
“Nothing?” Jai asked.
“Absolutely nothing” Daniel confirmed.
“Hey Jai, how about a lazy day, huh?” Luke asked.
Jai’s bright smile was Luke’s answer.
“It’s finally a good day, I guess” Beau chipped in.
“Yeah, a good day” Jai nodded.
Sometimes, a lazy day may end up be your good day!

It’s ironical how a few bad days can put down your mood and then a good day gets you back on track. But Jai has to admit that his brothers and friends were trying their best to make it a good day for Jai. But sometimes all you need is your friends and family to turn a bad day in a good one.

A slip of tongue! It happens to everyone on couple of occasions. It might be funny at times, it might be blackmail material for others, but for that one person it was just pure embarrassment. A slip of tongue might be funny to others but it was no fun for the victim of the slip of tongue. And this time, it was Jai who experienced that very embarrassment, all because of a fumble that the boys didn’t seem to be letting go of.

It happened during the slippery twister game and while they did have loads of fun during that challenge, Jai was absolutely tired and just wanted to sleep. He didn’t have much sleep for the past few days for some reasons. Still, he didn’t refuse to do the challenge. As usual, Luke managed to win the challenge this time too. In the end of the video, the boys went for their usual ‘like and subscribe’ message but this time an already tired Jai goofed u slightly as instead of sarcastically taunting his twin brother for getting nothing but a round of applause for his win, Jai mumbled out a ‘round of applau.’ And boy, his brothers weren’t going to let him live this down.

They had all laughed it off as Jai simply snorted.
“A round of applau” Beau burst into a fit of laughter and neither could Daniel or Luke stifle their giggles.
Jai didn’t even stay for the end of the video as he stormed off to his room, slamming the door behind him but it just made the boys chuckle a bit more.
The boys even continued the video after Jai went back to his room as they told their viewers how upset Jai got at his slip of tongue.
Ending the video though, Beau and Luke couldn’t help but feel a bit bad for Jai.

When he saw Jai’s door close, Luke decided to pay his brother a visit. He carefully opened the door, peaking inside only to see Jai curled up on bed with his back to the door.
“You still brooding?” Luke smirked as he sat next to the boy, sighing when he saw the boy wipe at his face quickly, “Oh come on, Jai. You haven’t been crying, have you?”
“Was he crying?” Beau asked from the door.
“Oh man” Daniel sighed before adding, “Shit happens mate!”
Both Beau and Luke were quick to shake their heads at Daniel when they heard a sniffle from Jai.
“Come on, no one’s laughing at you, I promise” Luke assured his brother.
“Slip of tongue happens kiddo” Beau said, patting the boy’s back.
Jai didn’t even mutter a word, turning towards Luke and keeping his eyes shut as he heard the boys whisper among themselves.

When Jai woke up, Luke came to fetch him to come downstairs. The boys had arranged for a movie night in order to cheer him up.
Jai took a seat on the couch, sighing when both Luke and Beau sat next to him.
Halfway through the movie, the actor says a line ‘a round of applause for him’ and they all kept quiet for the about five seconds before Jai himself burst in giggles.
They all laughed along with him, happy to put this incident behind them.
Beau and Luke shared a look over Jai’s head, sharing a smile.

It was not an all of a sudden pain. Since the past few weeks, Jai had been feeling a little pain in his lower back and stomach but the boy decided against saying a word to anyone. He thought it would go away with time. He popped a few pills here and there, hoping it will ease off with time. All it did was put the pain at bay for a while but the real issue was neither known nor solved until it became unbearable for Jai.

Since the past few days, Jai had been having a hard time keeping the pain off his face. His back had been absolutely killing him. He couldn’t sleep at night and he couldn’t walk without feeling any pain. Honestly speaking, he was starting to feel like an old grandpa or rather like a pregnant lady. But since they were on tour and were constantly on the move, Jai decided not to seek medical help. He thought that it was probably a muscular problem and when they’d get back home, he’ll consult their regular doctor. But the pain wasn’t going to hold back until then.

Jai thought that no one had noticed a thing. But they all saw the little things.
James was the one who saw how the boy kept wincing after their car rides. Be it a long drive or a short one, the boy would be wincing as he tried to stretch around.
“You okay?” James asked.
“Yeah, these car rides are not good for the back, man. Think I’m getting old.” Jai laughed it off.
But James knew that there was something wrong.

Daniel noticed how the boy kept taking medicines at regular intervals.
They had gone out to eat and Jai merely pushed around his food and while the boys went to the bathroom, Daniel found Jai taking some meds.
“What’s wrong?” Daniel asked.
“Just feeling a bit off. Better take some before the sickness hits me hard” Jai covered up quickly.
Jai joined the rest before Daniel could press him for more answers but he definitely sensed that something was off.

Beau and Luke both knew that Jai wasn’t okay. But they were waiting for the boy himself to tell them if something wasn’t wrong. They tried asking him though.
“Are you running a fever?” Luke had asked when he saw the boy taking some meds.
“Yeah, the travel might be affecting me” Jai said.
Luke let it go but Beau had directly asked the boy.
“Is your back hurting?” Beau asked the boy when he winced holding his back after a car ride.
“The hotel beds are really bad” Jai changed the topic instead.
Beau sighed, shaking his head as he watched the boy try and avoid his questions.

But all his strong acts came to an end one night. Luke and Jai were sharing a hotel room and while Luke fell asleep instantly, Jai was having trouble with his back. He was tossing and turning for a while until suddenly his back cramped up. This time the boy couldn’t bear with the pain.
“Luke… Luke? Please brother, wake up. I can’t…” Jai gasped.
Luke heard the whimpers and Jai’s painful request snapped him out of his sleep.
“Jai, what’s wrong?” Luke asked, hurrying to his brother’s side.
“My back… I can’t roll over. Oh God” Jai whimpered.
“Shit, okay… Let’s get you on your side first” Luke said as he tried to get Jai to roll onto his side but as soon as he touched the boy’s back, Jai let out a cry of agony.
Without any care, Jai buried his head in his pillow, crying his heart out.

Seeing his twin brother in such agony got Luke really worried. He ran to get their big brother as the other two bandmates followed in suit.
“What happened?” James asked.
“Hey bud, it’s okay. I’m here now. Can you tell me what’s hurting?” Beau asked.
“My back… Oh God. Beau, help me. I can’t…” Jai trailed off, still crying.
“I think we should get him to the hospital” Daniel suggested.
Luke nodded as he and Beau tried to get Jai up but the boy fell to the floor as soon as they touched his back.
Beau shared a worried look with the rest as he lifted his baby brother in his arms, opting to carry him to the hospital.

Once they got to the hospital, Jai was quickly admitted. A few minutes later, they were told that Jai would require surgery.
“It’s kidney stones” the doctor said and Beau wasted no time in agreeing for his brother’s surgery.
Sat in the waiting room, he nervously waited for the surgery to be over when Luke suddenly tugged on his shirt, asking, “Jai is going to be okay, right?”
Beau nodded, smiling as he let Luke snuggle in his side, hoping for a good news concerning their youngest one.

Thankfully, the surgery was successful. Sat in Jai’s room, they all waited for the boy to regain consciousness, trying not to think about how close they had come to losing the boy. Jai’s silence and then not prodding him enough could have turned seriously wrong but thankfully they managed to nick the case of kidney stones just in time. For now, it was going to be a long road to recovery.

The Janoskians are always trying to do the craziest stuff for their videos. This time for their new daresunday video, the boys decided to do a snake bath challenge. As weird as it sounds, it turned out that very much dangerous too. They had only wanted to make the video a fun one but clearly they hadn’t thought much about the consequences. Out of all the weirdest thing they did, this one was seriously just them asking for trouble.

At first, they had all thought that it would be a fun experience except that they had underestimated this whole challenge. Beau, Daniel and James couldn’t stay in the bath for much time. It wasn’t a nice feeling to see snakes wrapping around your limbs or just the fact that you were sitting in a bath full of snakes was quite scary. But Luke and Jai managed to stay for quite some time in that snake bath. Beau, Daniel and James had teased the two boys, trying to get the snakes closer to the boys but all the fun lasted until a snake got a bit too close to Jai.

Despite the panic and fear of snakes, Jai had been trying to keep his nerves to win the challenge but it was all until Luke’s panicked voice came through.
“Jai, don’t move buddy” Luke said.
“Oh shit” Jai cursed when he realized that there was a snake wrapped around his arm.
“Just don’t move buddy” Beau said, trying to keep the boy calm.
“Get it off. Get it off me” Jai panicked, trying to struggle.
“Don’t panic. Hey…” Luke trailed off, trying to keep his own panic at bay.
“I’ll get the guy to help us get the snake off him” James said.
“Jai, if you panic it might bite you” Daniel said.
It was clearly the wrong thing to tell Jai at that time.

With the snake wrapped around his arm, Jai couldn’t even think clearly. He couldn’t stop panicking. His struggles, unfortunately, had the snake constricting around his arm.
“My arm. It’s broken” Jai winced.
“No, it’s not. Just stay calm” Luke said as he tried to get the snake off.
But Jai’s panic caused the snake to bite him.
Jai couldn’t help but break down.
“Hey, it’s okay. You’re going to be fine” Beau mumbled as he silently urged their instructor to get the snake off his brother.
Beau literally pulled his baby brother out of the tub as soon as the snake was off.

Whether it was the panic or the snake bite but as soon as Beau had Jai out of the tub and lying on the floor, the boy seemed to be struggling to stay awake.
“Just stay with me here buddy” Beau coaxed his brother.
“The ambulance is coming” Daniel informed them.
“Is he okay?” Luke asked Beau.
Beau forced a smile as he looked up at an equally worried Luke and said, “He’s going to be okay.”
One arm around Luke and the other holding up Jai, Beau could finally sigh in relief when the ambulance arrived,

When Jai woke up, he realized he was in the hospital and his brothers were around him.
“Hey buddy, you awake?” Luke asked.
“The snake… Broke my arm… Bit me” Jai mumbled, still under the effect of drugs.
“I know kiddo. But you’re okay now. Your arm will be fine and there was no poison in the snake bite. So you’ll be fine” Beau said, ruffling the boy’s hair.
“Didn’t like it” Jai said, referring to the snake bath challenge.
“Neither did I buddy” Beau sighed, pulling Jai in a hug and bringing Luke closer too.
James and Daniel smiled as they watched the brothers finally sigh in relief.

The snake bath challenge turned out to be the most dangerous one they ever thought of doing. But knowing these boys, they’ll probably find another dangerous challenge to pull off soon.

Not too sure of this one but hope you all like it.
Prompt - Can you do a fan fiction of the Janoskians where they go to a store or a bank but it ends up with someone robbing the store and the boys are stuck inside the whole time? And one of the twins gets hurt and the brothers try to protect each other?

Jai hated bank’s paper works. He absolutely had no patience to wait or to fill in papers. He had no idea why Beau himself wanted to do the paper works but most importantly he had no idea why he went along to the bank. All he wanted was to sleep but instead, he got dragged by Luke who wanted to have breakfast out. The plan was to accompany Beau to the bank and then they would eat out. But it definitely didn’t go as planned.

When they walked in the bank, Jai already let out a groan.
“There’s a long queue” Jai whined.
“Yeah, I’ll try to wrap it up as quickly as possible” Beau promised.
“Oh come on, don’t be like that.” Luke sighed when he caught the pout on Jai’s face, “As soon as this is over, we’re getting the pancakes.”
“You and your pancakes” Jai huffed.
“Kids, do not wander off or I’ll have to ask the lady over there to keep an eye on my children while I get some work done” Beau said, cheekily, leaving his two little brothers glaring at him.

Beau intended to get the work done as quickly as possible. He had just gotten his paper works processed when he heard a loud crash and a voice, “get down everyone. Nobody moves.”
It was a hold up.
“The one who moves will get killed” one of the men said while the other charged inside to get the money.
From where he was kneeling on the floor, Beau could see both his baby brother stood across him frozen fear. Wanting nothing more than to be with them, Beau could only mouth ‘get down’ at them.
They desperately hoped that they could be out of there safe.

Nobody would have been hurt. The robbers assured them if they did as they were told, they wouldn’t be harmed.
But taking a chance, one of the employees tried to alert the cops and thus caught the attention of one of the robbers.
“Stop right or I’ll kill this one” the robber shouted.
Beau looked up at the man, horror filling his heart as he saw his baby brother, Jai, at gunpoint.
“No… No…” Beau said, trying to get up.
“Stay down or I’ll blow his brains out” the man threatened.
“Don’t hurt him” Luke warned the man.
“I got the money. Let’s go” the man’s accomplice said but the guy was now completely focused on Luke.
“You got the money. Let go of my brother” Luke said again.
Chuckling, the man hit Jai in the back of his head with the gun.
Luke tried hitting the man but wasn’t able to do so.
“Or… What would you do?” the man huffed, aiming a kick right in Luke’s stomach.
This time there was no stopping Beau.

Beau couldn’t describe where he got the courage from but seeing his little brothers in pain and danger had him moving towards the robber on his own.
He threw himself at the guy who hurt his brothers, punching him with all his might.
Seizing the opportunity, the security guard took down the other robber.
It didn’t take long for the cops to arrive and Beau was physically pulled away from the man.
“You did good, kid. We got the robbers” the cop assured Beau.
“Oh shit, he hit my brother” Beau seemed to realize as he looked over to where Luke was knelt before an unconscious Jai.
“There’s an ambulance coming” one of the cops shouted.
Crouching down next to the boys, Beau patted Jai’s cheeks trying to wake the boy up while waiting for that ambulance.

When Jai regained his senses, he realized that he was in the hospital and that there was a dull ache in the back of his head.
“Easy kiddo. You took a big whack in that head of yours” Beau said.
Eyes fluttering open, Jai visibly relaxed when he saw his big brother.
“The robbers?” Jai asked.
“Got arrested” Beau said.
“You okay?” Luke asked.
“Yeah” Jai mumbled, “And you?”
“Yeah” Luke nodded.
“It’s okay boys. You’re both fine. It will all be okay” Beau assured both boys.
Pulling Jai in a hug, he breathed out a sigh of relief as he pulled Luke close too.

Being caught in a bank robbery was definitely not part of their plans but as long as he had both of his brothers safely in his arms, Beau was okay. Though he would definitely like to avoid a bank robbery next time.
Prompt - Could you please do a Janoskians one where the brooks brothers find out they have a younger sibling and Jai gets really jealous because he’s not the baby of the family anymore? And like Beau and Luke get really angry with him about it? You’re so talented btw

Jai had no idea how he was supposed to react to the news. It wasn’t every day that you go home and get to know such a news. His mother was pregnant. A new baby was on its way. Beau, Luke and Jai were going to become big brother. Sure, it sounds like a wonderful news but there was one big problem. While Beau was already a big brother and Luke was the older twin amongst him and Jai, the latter had no idea how to be a big brother. Jai had always been the baby of the family, this news was not settling well with him.

Jai couldn’t understand why everybody were so excited about this new baby. It was only a baby. Why were they all so obsessed about this baby? While Beau and Luke were trying to help their mother and try to lessen her workload, Jai was only sulking and avoiding the family reunions. Jai decided that if his family was going to pay more attention to the baby then he was going to not pay attention to them too. He wasn’t going to help them out at all. Jai decided that he would cut off from them for a while. While his behavior certainly looked like a moody, rude and rebellious teen, his family missed out the signs of jealousy within the boy.

But Jai couldn’t escape the ‘baby’ atmosphere. The baby talks was all around the house.
“How does a baby stroller looks as gift for the new baby?” Luke asked Beau as they sat down for breakfast.
“Sounds nice buddy. I was thinking about getting a crib for the baby” Beau said.
“Wow. That would be a great help for mum.” Luke said then turning to Jai, he asked, “what are you buying for the baby?”
“Nothing” Jai snorted.
“I knew it. You forgot to buy something huh? How about you buy some clothes or baby products? It’s not about the money but the feelings buddy. Mum would be very happy if you get the baby something” Beau said.
“Why should I get the baby something when I don’t want the baby to come itself” Jai snapped.
“Jai” Luke scolded.
“What? It’s true. I don’t want the baby. I don’t care.” Jai shouted.
His shouting had attracted the attention of his mother who was very hurt to hear what Jai was saying.
“Apologize to mum, right now” Beau warned his little brother.
Glaring at his mother, Jai walked away without saying a word.

Jai didn’t mean to speak so rudely. But feeling his position in the family slip down, Jai reacted in such a way. He sure did feel bad afterwards though. Sat in his room, the boy could only bury his head in his knees as he mulled over his bad behavior and hurt feelings.
“I’m so disappointed in you” Beau said as he walked in the boy’s room.
“Mum was so hurt” Luke said, shaking his head at the boy.
“It’s all the baby’s fault” Jai sniffled.
Luke was about to scold the boy when Beau stopped him. Turning to Jai, Beau placed an arm on the boy’s back as he asked, “it’s the baby’s fault, huh? The baby did what exactly?”
“The baby is taking everybody’s attention. You all love the baby more than me. You all care for him more. I don’t want the baby to come.” Jai sulked, sniffling every so often.
“You’re jealous?” Luke realized.
“Buddy, the baby isn’t taking your spot. You’re just being promoted to big brother. Being a big brother isn’t bad. Look at me and Luke. If I would have been jealous of having a little brother then you and Luke would never have been there.” Beau explained to the boy.
“Yeah, buddy, we’re always going to love you. The arrival of the baby isn’t going to change anything” Luke said, smiling slightly as Jai looked up hopefully at him.
“And this baby is going to look up to you. He or she is going to love you, adore you and have you wrapped around his little finger. Just like I am for both of you. I’m very sure you’re going to be the best big brother to the baby.” Beau said.
Jai shook his head as he looked up at Beau, “You are the best big brother.”
Smiling softly, Beau pulled Jai in a hug and pulled Luke also in the hug.

Jai did apologize to his mum as he tried his best to not be jealous of the new baby. Sure the arrival of the baby would change a lot of things but with his brothers by his side, Jai would welcome this change happily. Promoted to big brother status doesn’t sound so bad after all!
