soo... let me just point out that you and daichi are like inseparable
in the sense that you probably walk to and from school together, he texts you on his breaks at practice
he probably talks about you a lot, especially to the third years. and it makes suga and asahi really happy!! because you really help daichi just like
but let me just say, both of your late night conversations are incredibly chaotic.
like it’s either the two of you simping over each other or having an existential crisis. no in between.

your couple song is ‘never not’ by lauv. let me explain myself- this is a beautiful song but to me, it is particularly sad due to the use of the past tense. daichi however, always sings it in the present tense. (ugh, the english literature student in me jumped out with this analysis) he completely changes the impact of the song- he makes it so hopeful for the future. during the hard times, he reminds you of how much you help each other and it makes you excited for the future, knowing he’s the one!
you also like staying out to see the stars together!! it’s really cute, because you’re both slightly sleepy and it’s a bit cold but the other’s company during one of the most beautiful times of day
you go on late night drives and scream sing in the car
and when you’re returning home the two of you just crying whilst listening to lorde
also i feel like when daichi is tired he does this thing that i do
like he just turns towards you with open arms and goes:

it’s really endearing. and you give him hugs because sleepy daichi and daichi in general deserves cuddles
also daichi loves lifting you into his arms. and cuddling you close. like after every single game the two of you do the really cute run up to each other, and he lifts you into his arms because yes!! you’re his darling jake!!
daichi has a thing for kissing your hands. and your forehead.
