wow your blog is so pretty!! :0 if its okay could i request having your first kiss with oikawa?
thank you! i love a good theme
"don’t move," oikawa huffs from somewhere on your right. your bed creaks from a shift in weight and you wrinkle your nose when a shadow falls upon your face.
"i'm not moving," you insist, but it's hard not to fidget when your boyfriend of about a month has been trying to get you to close your eyes and sit still for the past five minutes without any explanation.
something hovers just two inches from your nose, something warm and—from the way his breath comes out in soft, shallow huffs—something nervous. it makes you smile, in spite of oikawa’s best efforts to keep you from moving.
long fingers, cool and a bit clammy, settle on your jaw and you resist the urge to gasp. it’s the dead of winter but you didn’t expect him to be so cold yet so viscerally nervous at the same time.
“tooru—” you begin in an attempt to either reassure him or give him an out but he cuts you off with the soft press of a thumb against your bottom lip.
“don’t,” he pleads. “i’m just... i can do this.”
you cough out a laugh. “do wha—?”
warm lips press against yours mid-question, sticky with the remnants of lip balm.
it’s peppermint, you realize as your teeth knocks against soft skin. you can’t help but smile at the abruptness of the action, at how the sudden burst of enthusiasm seems to override your boyfriend’s typical careful nature. because, although he tries his best not to show it, oikawa has always, always been careful.
but now, in your room, with the snow falling lightly outside and his weight bearing down on you, you think you see him stumble. just this once.
and it’s all because of you.
you whisper his name and you feel his lashes flutter against your cheek before he pulls away, looking delightfully stupefied.
