Another possible season three plotline

East high hires on a new child psychologist. They have a standard chat with each student, just to get a baseline, and for the most part the kids seem fairly adjusted and healthy.

Enter Gina and Ricky.

Psychologist is like, 'yep, that needs therapy', recomends they at least try out professional counseling.

Gina/Ricky, being cagey teenagers be like, ...no.

Que a few home calls....

Ricky *still a disgruntled teenager* - still not going, im fine, dad.

They go back and forth, between his dad and the psychologist Ricky agrees to join counceling if Gina does, figuring she's even more closed off then him.

Phone call to Gina's Mom....

Gina *Mama's girl tm* - ....ok.

So the counceler hes each keep a journal describing events and occurances and how they feel about them.

Ricky finds that this helps him by keeping him from being overwhelmed by the changes in his life.

He is able to work through his feelings on how his mom isn't just around anymore and how he feels about Todd 'replacing' his dad.

His feelings for Nini are less scary when he can look back and see word for word how he felt at any moment.

Gina, is less soothed.

Her journals describe calls to her mother that get cut short for work, when they don't just go to voicemail.

Her battling happiness for Nini and her sprouting career with Jaime, their texts and studio days, and her own voicemail conversations and backhanded apology gifts, and how Gina slowly realizes how much she resents always coming second to her own blood.

Ricky writes a song for his mother about how he's still scared and uncomfortable with the changes in his life, but he is slowly working through it. Scene ends with Ricky having dinner with his mom and Todd.

Gina writes a song for her brother about feeling forgotten and sidelined. Jaime says its cute but not really the current style thats succeeding in the charts. scene ends with Gina leaving and Nini tearing into Jaime.
