Jonah took his time reading the book Jai had given him. After confessing such a heavy thing about his past, something he didn't even talk to his own family about, he had hoped for more words from the other. He had all but confessed his feelings without using the words. However, as he read Jai's writing, he understood why. It wasn't just fiction. It was a retelling of their story through the writer's eyes. As Jonah read it, he laughed and he cried and he reminiced about the years since they had met. He found himself instinctively reaching out to Jaiyash at times, only to find he wasn't there. As he arrived at Hogwarts, where he had planned to meet Jai at some point, he sought him out immeditiately. The book was safely at home but each word burned in his mind like a permanent scar. When he spotted the other, fortunately mask-free so he could recognise him, Jonah didn't hesitate to rush toward him. He didn't really let the other have a chance to register that he was there or say anything before his lips found his. Where words failed with Jonah, actions spoke louder. Not to mention, he had been desperately wanting to do that since this whole thing had gone down. When he pulled away, several moments later he gave an uncharacteristically sheepish smile, "Sorry, I've just been dying to do that," he admitted, "Except I'm not really sorry," he added after a moment, his smile turning slyer.
