I feel like this doesn't match up with what we know about Nick and his brother, but Nick's entire backstory is so convoluted, I could easily be mistaken...

Ok before pride month ends I do have to post the one thing I ended up drawing for it, which is this image of Scorpio as seen in 70s Defenders for my friend whos really into Defenders and told me Scorpio was canon gay (coded because it was the 70s but the writer confirmed it eventually). I still have not read Defenders but Ive seen a whole lot of Scorpio in it and I am a big fan. Anyway I wish he got to go pride

This is cold blooded as hell. Nick didn’t like the woman his brother was seeing, so he seduced her, so he could get close to her and get info about her corruption, and then put her away, all in the name of “protecting his brother” which is like... Nick my man...

Dumb Agents of SHIELD idea:

Okay, so Winter Soldier (And Agents of Shield, in a callback to it last night) revealed that there are perfect disguise masks that can basically turn you into another person. Given how last season throwaway 'new tech' became a big part of the finale, I don't think it's going to be a one-shot thing for the show. 

That's not the dumb idea. This is the dumb idea.

In the Comics, Nick Fury has an evil twin brother, Jake, who was part of Zodiac (the organization that's probably going to feature in Agent Carter, if the short film is any indication.) 

Later, he infiltrated Hydra, by killing a famous Hydra agent and taking his place. 

Thing is? That well-known Hydra agent was Daniel Whitehall, called the Kraken. Who's currently being set up as the big bad in Agents of Shield this season as an  apparently immortal Nazi.

So my secret hope is that at the end of the season Whitehall pulls off his mask to reveal...Samuel L. Jackson.

AoS theory because why the hell not.

In 1x16, agent Blake randomly asked May if she was a scorpio. Since almost nothing is said randomly in television, I started digging around a little.

Turns out agent Garrett was in a secret organization called "Zodiac" and the spies' code names were the signs of the zodiac. 

Who was Scorpio? Nick Fury's brother, Jake....who happens to be the Kraken, one of the leaders of HYDRA 

And who was undercover last episode and was unreachable? Nick Fury. 

I'm not saying Jake Fury might be a part of the whole mess happening right now, but...
