Spotify recently had a thing which listed the tracks you had listened to most over it's whole history. Most of the songs on my list didn't come as surprise to me, but there were a few tracks I'd forgotten about: Denai Moore's beautiful "Cascades", and Jake Germain's aching "Compares to U". Moore has apparently pivoted to being a chef, but Germain is still making music, of which I particularly like the very twinkly "Late at Night".

Hyperpop, a.k.a. Charli XCX but gayer and/or hornier and/or softer. That Kid’s “Taco Bell” reminds me thematically of Nivea’s “Parking Lot”; Casey MQ’s “Candyboy”, cookii’s “Like Like” and RebMoe’s “Anyone like You” exemplify the soft end of the spectrum; Silver Sphere’s “Football Game” is a banger.
Also, I stand by my position that “Visions” is the best track on “How I’m Feeling Now”, but I would be remiss not to mention “Detonate”, which I’m choosing to interpret as a follow-up to the IMO underrated “Explode (from the Angry Birds Movie soundtrack)”.
