Jaketina or Rytina?
LEAVE 2 SHIPS IN MY ASK AND I’LL CHOOSE WHICH I SHIP MORE
“I’ll have to act out by wearing lots of eyeliner and doing the drugs.” // “The cure for pain is in the pain.” // “I don’t need the feeling of completeness. I just need the feeling of not being empty.” (oops but I love it when you write Jaketina ^3^)
THIS IS NOT A BAD THING, CHRISTIE. Do not apologize. xD
“I’ll have to act out by wearing lots of eyeliner and doing the drugs.”
“That’s any different from how you act now?” Jake couldn’t help but raise his eyebrows at Tina’s comment, not sure if he should take her seriously. It was hit or miss with her sometimes. “I mean, other than the drugs, I guess.” He didn’t think Tina did drugs at least, but what did he know? He didn’t really pay attention.
“The cure for pain is in the pain.”
Jake didn’t know how to answer that. He really didn’t. He wasn’t really good at this heart to heart thing and he barely knew Tina, much less knew what to say to make her feel better. “I mean, I guess if that’s what you want to do?” He said awkwardly, standing up a moment later and tossing her, her jacket. “But I think crappy breadsticks at Breadstix might work just as well.” He wasn’t worried about her, not at all. He just wanted Breadsticks and he might as well bring someone else.
“I don’t need the feeling of completeness. I just need the feeling of not being empty.”
“You know I’m not your therapist, Cohen-Chang, right?” Jake wasn’t sure when he and Tina became confidants. They had gone to barely talking to talking more than he really cared to admit. He had told Tina more things than he told some of the people he was closest to. He was pretty sure it was the same way for her. They had talked about how lost she had felt after Mike and her had broken up, about how stepped on she felt in the Glee Club, the fact that she wasn’t always sure if theater was the right thing for her and more. He sometimes felt like he knew Tina better than he did himself. She knew more than few of his issues so it was only fair. It was Tina’s suggestion after all that he had started running every morning to help deal with his anger issues. He wasn’t sure if they were exactly friends, but that didn’t mean she wasn’t important to him. “I - I’m here for you, you know that right? I know I’m shit at giving you advice, but I’m always here to listen, got it? So just, try to feel less empty or something.”
"Don’t make me beg.” // "I can’t do this anymore." // "I’m pregnant and it’s yours."
“Don’t make me beg // Jaketina
This was the last situation Jake had ever imagined. Doing anything with Tina Cohen-Chang still seemed like something out of an episode of the Twilight Zone. Sometimes he wondered if he hit his head, not because Tina wasn’t totally hot, which she was in a kind of neurotic way, but because he was pretty sure anyone like Tina was the last person he’d be attracted to. But he had surprised himself and sometimes he didn’t know how exactly to feel about that.
In moments like this, he definitely knew how he felt about it. He never imagined that Tina would be someone who would borderline beg but he definitely approved of it. It was sexier than he had ever imagined. Jake walked forward, an amused smirk on his face. “What if I like you begging?” He asked, his voice husky. He wouldn’t complain if she did.
