Getting back into my Astromech build and wanted to do up a little decal for it’s dome. I see this droid as having come from a heavy industrial plant of some sort and it’s aesthetics are specifically influenced by my time working around old railway equipment, so I felt it appropriate to add some work place safety slogans.
A promo shot I did for a local event that didn’t end up getting used.
I made a pick guard for a cheap bass I picked up the other day. Laser cut mirrored acrylic with black acrylic paint on the back end of the etched areas. It may or may not be patterned after the carpet in the shining.

So this is what I've been working on every waking moment for the last week and a half.
More droid progress. It's been a bit since the last update, but I've been working like a madman and my boy is getting so big. The ankles are on and the framework for the dome is pretty much done. Have had the 3d printers going almost non stop for all the components and just got the ring bearing for the dome ordered. Next step is getting my hands on some styrene for the skin's and sorting out the feet.
A couple new things I threw together
Cosplay stuff I've been working on for a friend. I swear I go through more chrome spray paint than a war boy.
