green tea: where do you feel most at peace?

I would say on my own, surrounded by nature, whether that’s on the beach, looking out to the waves rolling in, or in a forest, surrounded by trees. I’ve always loved standing under a tree and looking up, apparently I used to do it when I was tiny, and mum would take me out for walks. I would always look upwards.

oolong: what are you hoping to be doing in ten years?

I’m hoping (hoping being the key word) to be maybe be married, maybe starting a family, and who knows what I’ll be doing career wise. I am most definitely wanting to go into costume, but whether that be theatre costume, film costume, or historical costume, time will tell.

Here are the questions for me to answer:

1. If you could visit any country/region, where would it be?

Prolly Japan or India, somewhere in Asia would be ace.  

2. If you could live surround by any scenery (e.g. beach, forest, mountains), what would it be?

Think I'm more of a town person tbf; but if it was countryside it'd have to be mountains and all that. I like chillin in the woods as well.

3. Favourite book?

1984.

4. If you were in a film (made or not), what would you be in and who would you play?

5. Who is your favourite fictional character?

I'm not sure, the original Willy Wonka is pretty jokes. More so in the book than either films. Johnny Depp's is ok, I guess, but all that freudian crap about his father is a bit wank.

6. Who do you find most inspirational?

I had to do this once in English at school and I ended up writing about my granddad. He was a pattern-maker and he drew and made us toys and things when we were little but then he had a stroke. He had to teach himself to use his left hand (before his stroke he was right handed) and talk and walk again and everything. He never quite got back to normal but he could draw and talk ok and stuff when I knew him. Yeah. He was pretty ace.

7. If you could have made any song, which would you choose?

Space Oddity. It's so simple and pretty much everyone knows the lyrics.

8. Favourite flower.

I have no idea about plants. For a while i liked cacti. Also i think bonsai are pretty cool. I'm aware neither are flowers.

9. Favourite colour found in nature.

peacock green.

10. Favourite sound from nature.

there's an owl nesting somewhere near my house. It's pretty chill.

11. Favourite smell.

Petrol. Also petrichor.

I didn't know what to ask everyone else. I don't play by the rules. I play by my own rules. Nobody elses. Not even my own.

1. My laptop sleeve looks like a typewriter, and it’s pretty.

2. Yesterday I made my sister a fox cushion cover, because I felt like making something. (I also made a hanging vase, and a mustache cup; it was a rather productive day)

3. Last night I dreamt about losing my wallet, and I was more put out by losing the book voucher that’s in there than anything else.

4. I don’t like wearing odd socks.

5. I still cry about Les Mis.

6. My hair is naturally curly curly, but it’s super versatile, so if I were to straighten it, it’d stay straight, if I were to pincurl it, it’d keep the curls, etc., and I like it.

7. I always sing showtunes when home along. Always.

8. I like to figure out covers to showtunes on my guitar, just ‘cause.

9. My resent favourite to play is On My Own.

10. My little brother is currently singing a mashup of the ‘scream + shout’ Les Mis parody and the minecraft parody, and is doing pretty well.
