If there was one thing that Bodhi needed more than anything, it was attention. It wasn’t as though it was necessarily in short supply here, but the wolf was aching for it nonetheless. It had been too long since he’d been touched, too long since he’d fallen asleep on someone’s chest, and too long since he’d asked for what he needed. So then... there was Jamal.
It wasn’t night, so the chance that Jamal could give him what he needed was much higher; no intrusions on Jamal’s marriage bed, no intrusions on his heart. Bodhi sought out Jamal at his post, slightly lifting a hand, almost in greeting. Yes, he was needy. And yes, he knew it. “I was wondering,” Bodhi started, intentions utterly transparent, “if you had some time to spare soon. The pup is off... with the caretakers, and... I don’t leave the village for another day or so, so...” So... pay attention to me? || @jamal-parata
