Jambo! Kitchen is everything. But especially the Pineapple Express taco (chunks of lamb and pineapple inside a flaky, buttery piece of paratha bread). I also highly recommend the chicken rice bowl with African rice and bisbaas sauce. And the beef sambusas. And the Somali tea. And everything else on the menu, it’s all good. Having this place in Cedar-Riverside is a delight. I love introducing people to it, and I love living in a city where fast-casual Somali food is a lunch option. But not on Sundays. They’re closed Sundays.
