Art Garfunkel, son Arthur Jr. (James) & wife Kim - The 59th Street Bridge Song/Feelin' Groovy
http://www.facebook.com/simonandgarfunkelnews 12/7/2014 - Aster Plaza, Hiroshima, Japan. Tab Laven on guitar. "Let It Be Me" is a popular song originally pub...
This seems appropriate for Father’s Day. Art and his son James sing this Everly Brothers tune, and they harmonize quite beautifully.
Art says he thinks James has a better voice than he ever did, but I can’t agree (though it’s possible I’m a tad biased) James has a very nice voice and an impressive range, but to me it doesn’t have the warmth that Artie’s voice does.
Still, it’s sweet to see Art put his hand on his heart at 1:22 when James does a little trill with his voice, obviously the proud papa at his son’s singing.
Happy Father’s Day, Artie!
Chose this picture because they are cuties. I started using my liquid ink pen, only to find out the ink was running out; I barely managed to finish Art’s eyes. I went on with a normal ball-point pen. I like it!
James, at the front window, was telling this lovely girl - smiling up at his eyes - what his email address is. She's coming to tomorrow's show in Munich. Her name is Emily. The flaming torch of rock and roll is passing from father to son.
