There are days where you wish you had attention. Days where you wish someone would notice you. Days when you feel lonely. Days when you feel unhappy or sad. Then there are days when you wish no one would notice you. Days where you forget to reply to messages you had since November. Days you forget you were chatting with someone you find so beautiful and attractive. Days you wish you could sleep all day just to try to escape the world for a little bit. Everyone is different. Everyone experience things differently. Not everyone is going to be so understanding. Not everyone is going to know how you feel. But every now and then...someone will understand. Someone will know what you are going through because they went through it too.
It’s been weird I hardly go on here and “talk”. Just haven’t been in the mood I guess. It is something I do truly miss doing. And hopefully I will start doing it more. Life is just like that sometimes. Still I have my old iPod Touch which can’t update any apps anymore. So if I go on that it’s usually just to reblog or like posts. I can’t see message but I do get notifications (which is kinda weird). I definitely need to get a new iPod Touch or a cellphone.
That will also explain why I sometimes answer quickly or slowly to new messages. The only way I can see them are on my laptop or if I use my family’s iPad Mini. So just know I will see your message and I will try to message back as soon as possible. I am not avoiding you. I am not hiding from you. I don’t hate you and I don’t find you annoying. It’s nothing like that at all. I appreciate every message I get. Those messages really brighten my day.
The past few days have been pretty good. I haven’t felt lonely in awhile and that’s good. I hope all of your days have been just as good if not better. I do miss your faces. :P
My family complains I lack motivation. I try to call about jobs, my brother won't turn down his music. So I walk to the park to jog/walk. As soon as I get there my mom calls and says she's coming to get me to take me out to eat. Maybe because every time I try to motivate myself someone nearby at the time finds a way to interfere.
The thing is that James McAvoy is the most talented actor I've ever seen and I feel like my ridiculous crush on him makes people think that that's the only reason I love and recommend his films. The number one reason I admire him is because he is in truth the best actor I have ever come across. Seeing his potential being utilized and recognized is really a wonderful thing to watch, because in all fairness, he's done some terribly shite movies, but you can always see his unbelievable talent shine through even the worst drawn characters in these fantastic moments of expression and he seems to be able to create something great no matter what. Hats off to you sir.
" waiting for kumagawa... " - the problem with the Medaka Box fandom
Hello, I'm James.
I've seen, heard, and witnessed the above statement far too often -- so much that I'm sick of it.
This doesn't apply to most of you, but it does to the Medaka Box fandom. Well, if you're in the fandom you know where I'm going with this haha. Kumagawa Misogi, ever since his formal introduction has become a huge boom for the fandom in both positive and negative ways. In all honesty, I considered him easily the best villian Jump has ever produced at the time.
You have a unique villain who:
mocks and belittles the very principals Shonen Jump was built on
is conceptually unable to attain a fair victory
is the definitive incarnation of an underdog
has up to that point in the series -- unarguably the strongest skill -- but refrains from using it at his leisure because he's simply " lazy "
is so similar to the reader or fans -- or even people who have dealt with multiple failures or jealousy toward their peers that it is literally almost impossible to dislike him at all
This character was such a boom, that the Minus Arc ( the very arc that formally introduced him ) is easily the most popular arc of the Medaka Box series to date -- and it's been regarded as what " hooked " a lot of the readers into the series.
Great right? Well the problem is that a nasty bit of the fandom has regarded Kumagawa as the only reason to bother watching or reading Medaka Box -- and are even abstaining from watching the anime until he appears.
It's bad enough that we have self-acclaimed anime critics watching the anime and comparing it to Haruhi -- or complaining about Medaka's characteristic perfect nature. These of course, those who are familar with the series understand that Medaka is this way for a reason -- to contrast the other "human" characters -- and will eventually result in Medaka's being ostracized for being "inhuman. "
Now we don't have fellow fans supporting the anime we've pretty much lusted for since it's announcement -- for Kumagawa? He's just one great character out of the entire cast. Ask yourself, are you really going to wait six months to a year just for Kumagawa to appear at the end of an episode? Do you guys just want a Kumagawa Misogi-based anime? Just be honest about it -- don't persuade others to just read Medaka Box for Kumagawa, or misdirect others from watching the anime for him! That's just dumb and hurts all of us.
I don't think they ever really confirmed for 100% that Kanji is gay. If anything I think he's bisexual or something. He blushed at Yukiko and Chie in their swimsuits, and liked Detective Prince Mode Naoto!, didn't he?
I think it's a lot more interesting that they left his sexual orientation up in the air so that fans would be able to draw their own conclusions for such an interesting character.
Which is why I don't understand why you guys have all this hate/dumb shit when it comes to his sexuality. Does sexuality really make up that big of an issue for a character?
I enjoy Kanji for Kanji, not because he's gay or bisexual! He's a hilarious character who throws chairs.
