Junior Deputy; James Rook

31st July, 1990

James returns from his service in the army and is immediately offered the position of junior deputy. He finds his place under Sheriff Whitehorse and beside Pratt and Hudson, working hard daily to prove he deserves to work with the people he comes to call his friends.

When the day comes to arrest Joseph Seed his entire world is turned upside down and it's like he's back in the middle of a war. His friends need him and the cultists want him, he becomes a symbol for something he isn't sure he believes in.

But he swore to serve and protect and that's what he plans to do.
