plot: the doctor dropped you off after showing you amazing things after having helped a nest of zarbanese eggs on a planet two hundred years in the future after you had accidently been taken along by the tardis in the confusion of transformation and crashing. and said that he’d be back after having met you for the first time after his regeneration and said he’d be back in a second....only for three years to pass- oops.

As the Doctor knocked on her door and watched as it opened, he was all smiles as he was in his new suit which was just a jacket over a jacket over a sweater, and a new hair cut. “Okay, so anywhere, I was thinking that we can meet my old friend Billy, he’s a star but a great gabber if you know-....” Just from the look alone he realized he’d messed up. “I’m late aren’t I? A week? Month?”

James was shelving a few things at Something Green when a customer came in. He offered them a bright smile, as if the world weren’t resting on his shoulders. “Welcome to Something Green, how can I help heal you today?”

James needed a break, so he told his co worker Randy to cover for him, and he went and found a spot, where he normally would go, that not a lot of people hung out there. He leaned against the wall, and closed his eyes, when he felt another presence approaching, “Just when I thought I could get some alone time...” He mumbled, “You need me Randy?” He didn’t even open his eyes.

James was just about done with everything. He was on thin ice with the professors and head master. His friends were treating him different, mostly Sirius for some reason he has yet to figure out. Quidditch was stressing him out. And Lily Evans still seemed to hate him though he had done nothing wrong this time around. Some last year at Hogwarts he was having. He was so completely on edge, that when he passed a hall entrance, he was nearly fuming as he was suddenly covered in tinsel. But as he hears giggles, he looked over and saw the first year that’s been trying to get him for months. James quickly put on a smile, not wanting to scare the kid. “Ya got me, mate,” he chuckled and tried to shake the tinsel off of him. The child whispered an enchantment and the shiny decor disappeared. “That’s not even the worst of it!” The kid laughed before running off. “Good luck getting me twice!” James called out with a smirk, but it faded as the boy was out of sight. He appreciated the prank, actually managed to make him feel a little better. But that was only temporary relief to a seemingly permanent problem at the moment.

“well, good morning”  james said putting his trousers on and looking at the naked girl on his bed. last night, after he and his band finished the concert, they went to a party and got pretty wasted which lead them to his house and on his bed. “i’m late for rehearsal so i can drop you at your house very quickly of if you want to have breakfast you can hang around my flat and see if there’s something to eat and then leave whenever you want. it’s up to you”

"I can't go, there's a conference in Boston that week." He wasn't planning on sharing that plan with her just yet. James wanted to bring it up and ask her to accompany him. After the meetings, they could explore the city together. Of course, this idea was only good if they both didn't have conflicting plans now.

James couldn't pinpoint the moment their conversation flared up. When a calm conversation became an argument, and things, best kept to himself, came out. It's important! I don't spend my day with my head in the clouds and everything in the world is pretty art. He couldn't recall who said it first, that maybe they were too different to make this work. James needed to focus on his career, make his parents proud. The possibility to take over the company was too important. "Is that what you want then?"
