james had woken up before lily for a change, he didn’t want to disturb so he crept out of bed into the kitchen. he was hungry, of course he was, he decided to start on breakfast, a suprise for her, he wasn’t that great at cooking. he had a habit of burning things, but he was going to try this morning, just for lily, he rifled through the fridge looking for bacon. closing the fridge door, he was empty handed, he pulls out his wand instead, “accio bacon” he mutters hopefully swishing his wand around.

𝐭𝐡𝐞  𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧  𝐡𝐚𝐝  𝐚𝐥𝐥  𝐛𝐮𝐭  𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐝  𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦  𝐡𝐞𝐫  𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐬,  not  intending  to  let  true  feelings  come  to  light.  but  it  was  too  late  now,  everything  out  in  the  open  at  a  uncomfortable  level  that  sawyer  felt  every  second  turn  into  hours.  swallowing,  her  eyes  stayed  on  james,  never  letting  them  leave  even  for  an  instant  out  of  fear  that  if  she  looked  back  she'd  be  gone.  but  the  silence  between  them  was  becoming  agonizing,  sawyer  internally  screaming  for  her  to  say  something,  anything.  a  part  of  her  knew  that  the  blonde  probably  didn't  feel  the  same,  didn't  feel  as  though  sawyer  was  more  than  just  a  friend.

when  james  finally  spoke,  sawyer's  stomach  plummeted,  her  fear  coming  to  light  and,  before  she  could  stop  herself,  her  hand  reached  out  to  grab  james'  wrist,  ❛  jamie,  wait  —  ❜  the  tone  of  her  voice  was  pleading,  gently  tugging  her  back  but  if  james  really  wanted  to  she  could  break  free,  ❛  c'mon.  talk  to  me,  please?  ❜
