Happy 10 years of Chrome!!!

Chrome has officially been around for a full decade y’all. I can’t believe it. Thanks for coming along with me for the ride.

I officially started Chrome’s blog on March 3, 2013 at the age of 13. Since then, I’ve done countless ret-cons to his story, changed his design, made a fool of myself, slowly learned to draw, added characters to his story, highkey abandoned his blog, and thought about this dumbass fictional man every single day. It’s weird to say that an OC I made at 13 has been the most stable thing in my life. It’s also weird how emotionally attached I am to him. That’s life! This idiot has been my escape from life and helped me work through the hardest times of my life.

Here’s to several more decades with this fake man living rent free in my brain. I love you, dude.

AS FOR MY SON. my beautiful boy. my baby. my darling sweet precious son. he does actually have a blog! @jamescaverly it is abandoned but there’s years worth of cringy teenage me fuckin around and retconning things a billion times

the rundown is Chrome (or James if you’re feeling fancy) is a genetic engineer who owns his own research company and is a billionaire or whatever (he is fictional and therefore not a complete asshole evil person) he was based on the onceler back in the day so. gotta honor those roots somehow

he had a twin sister but due to Reasons their mom poisoned her and she is dead. uh his mom sucks ass for so many reasons. his dad left when he and his sister were 7. his late husband died in the car accident that blinded him in one eye (that is a retcon. originally that is not how he was blinded). he has remarried since.

he is very close to his late husband’s sister and her daughter, rosie. he wants to have kids but he is Infertile. also his spouse doesn’t want to have genetic children, but chrome does. it’s a thing.

most of the stuff on his blog ive kinda abandoned storywise. one thing you gotta know tho is that is he a Horny Bastard. just. man. good lord. he is also a recovering alcoholic. rip dude i really just. fucked him up as a teenager.
