Once upon a time... The Mississauga Business News showcased my youth empowerment efforts at the Rotary International Camp Enterprise a couple years ago. My keynote then was about 10 smart business moves for young entrepreneurs to kick off their careers with some wisdom nuggets from the frontline trenches and a few cliff jumps through my vast experience running small businesses. LOL LOVE, LOVE, LOVE inspiring youth as they are the future leaders of our world, so the better that they do, the better we all do!! The BEST part was the line up (more like a crowd) mobbing me to share, speak, offer, learn, collaborate and partner with me from the movers and shakers in the group!!! I was their for about 45min taking photos with the kids. So much fun!!! One kid stayed behind and shared with me that he was getting bullied, beat-up and laughed at. What he said gave me shivers... "Mr. Erdt... If you weren't here today to speak to us, I might not have been here tomorrow." He was contemplating ending his life. He then shared that he is going to start doing motivational and inspirational work to support kids going through the same nasty hard-to-handle stuff starting immediately. I offered my support and from that moment on, WE BOTH DISCOVERED OUR PURPOSE!! Are YOU following your calling? If not, I predict that it will be in the service of others, when you do. 😉 #grateful #blessed #campenterprise #jameserdt #believe #youthinspire #youngentrepreneurs #successcoach #successcoaching #actionisthekeytosuccess https://www.instagram.com/p/CPVaXebh7vZ/?utm_medium=tumblr
