The Pace Report: "A Standard Life" The Marilyn Scott Interview
Welcome to another edition of The Pace Report featuring vocalist Marilyn Scott performing new music from her latest CD "Standard Blue". Marilyn recently toured the east coast in support of her new music making a appearance at the famed Birdland in New York.
Her latest CD is a all standards release which features Russell Ferrante on keys, Jimmy Haslip on bass, James Harrah on guitar, and Jimmy Branly on drums. This is Marilyn's first record in 8 years.
I sat down with Marilyn to talk about the new disc, her musical influences, and her band.
