A late 18th or early 19th ladderback armchair. We believe this is a chair by Kerry of Evesham and one exhibiting the very uncommon and short lived short arm design. The form and particularly the horizontal rungs are clearly antecedents of the #jamesmaclaren #clissett #arts and crafts #cotswoldschool chairs which in turn led to the beautiful #gimson chairs and more. Obviously in need of re-rushing and possibly cut down, although it may not be, folk were smaller back then and it works as a lounge chair! Available now.
