One thing I always found funny about Avery regarding Jameson is that her brain breaks when she sees him shirtless. E.g., that scene when she takes Eve to her room to shower, she says that he’s shirtless and it sounds like she just had an epiphany. Like, girlie, do you need a minute?

Seriously though, why was Jameson shirtless for like half the series? Like, why? What was the reason? To emphasize he’s hot? Cuz I think that was made pretty clear by all the shirtless scenes in The Inheritance Games and-cough cough-the hot tub scene in The Hawthorne Legacy which is probably the most emphasized scene of all for that particular reason. For crying out loud, the very first scene where we meet him is with him being shirtless on a balcony performing a balancing act while giving out riddles and being flirty with Avery. I just-

The real reason why Max told Avery that Jameson Hawthorne was in the hot tub that night at True North was because she was physically restraining herself from running downstairs to do some communing with his abs and she sent her best friend instead to live vicariously through her so she spares herself the embarrassment.
