I have this headcanon that Knox went back to Louisiana after the whole Vantage thing, straight to Severin's shack, and had a full-on breakdown thinking about Calla's death and Severin's death. And also about how he had spent his entire life in poverty — he literally didn't have food to eat 😭 — while being the son of one of the richest men in the US

He just let all the memories come rushing back and finally allowed himself to grieve all those losses. I'm sure he completely fell apart

How some of the best moments of his life happened in the bayou, and now half of the people who were there are dead🥺🥺
