So… is it our theory that Jesse and James are connected in some way? I haven’t really seen people talk about it, but if Belial didn’t send James the dreams of the murders, our only other viable option is Jesse. Perhaps the magical healing properties of his last breath connected the two? By showing James the murders, was Jesse’s psyche subconsciously reaching out to help out in any way he could? Or perhaps was a connection formed that could cause James to see through Jesse’s eyes?

I initially considered Lilith as a possibility concerning the dreams, but have since ruled her out, as James has gotten the spells that are placed on Shadowhunter babies at birth, leaving him immune to demonic influence.

If James and Jesse being connected is the case, would it stop/change now that Jesse is alive? My guess is probably not, as it does not erase the fact that James was saved from death due to the locket’s magic. But the question still stands: are Jesse and James connected? If so, will they stay that way? Is there any way to get rid of it?
